Chapter 18

~

"Girl's night!" Allison sits down in the car and gives Penelope a kiss on her cheek, "You're picking up Em too right?" Penelope nods, "From boss, to Em?" Allison gives her a confused look while they drive away, "Last time I saw you, you still called Emily, 'Boss' or 'Prentiss' and now it's Em." Allison shrugs, "I got to know her a bit" Allison looks at her phone, catching a glimpse of Penelope smiling.

"We're here"

"I'll come downstairs xx"

"She's on her way down" Allison looks over to the building, seeing Emily come out of the door, she's wearing a red button up with black pants and a leather jacket. 

Gorgeous.

"Hey you! Feels like I haven't seen you in ages, are you doing okay?" Emily leans forward to give Penelope a kiss on her cheek, "Hi Pen, I'm doing just fine" she looks over to Allison. "How are you and JJ doing, all alone at the BAU with our guys?" Allison giggles, "They're better then you'd expect actually, JJ just tells them 'I'll tell Emily' and they start to behave." Allison and Emily laugh, Allison looks in the rear view mirror towards Emily, making them lock eyes for just a moment.

"Hey JJ!" Allison goes to hug her fellow blonde, "Hey Al, I ordered something for us all." She points to the drinks next to her. They all sit down and immediatly all eyes shift to Emily, "So?" She looks up from her drink, clearly confused. "So, what?"

"You're telling me we're going out for a girls-night and you don't expect us to ask how you've been doing?" Penelope adds, "And you not being at work for like a week must be killing you" Emily shifts her eyes to Allison, who gives her a defeated look, "I've been okay, some nightmares, here and there. But okay, and I do miss you guys, I hope I can come back soon."

They talk a bit more before Penelope gets to her favourite subject, "Okat, enough chit-chat, how's love going?" Allison looks at Emily, "I broke up with Drew" Penelope and JJ are schocked, Emily, not so much. "Are you okay?" She nods, "Yeah, just wasn't the right fit, we're still cool" Penelope shifts all her interest towards Emily, "Did she text you?" Emily shakes her head, "Nah, I didn't text her either, I'm more interested in someone else right now" She shifts her eyes to JJ. 

"You know. Tell me." Penelope turns her body to JJ, who puts her hands up, trying to prove her innocence. "Oh you smug little fuckers, I'll figure it out, it's someone we know, otherwise you would be fine telling us all." Meaning her and Allison.

"Okay fine, whatever. My love life, is as always very interesting" She continues to explain the 4 dates with 3 people she's had in the past week, 2 of which turned out in her getting laid, the other one she actually liked. 

At this point JJ is the only one who's even half-sober so she's the one who decides to call it a night. She gets some water in penelope so she's safe to drive home and calls an uber for Allison and Emily. "Goodnight guys!" She waves them off while she walks Penelope to her car.

"Hey, you can sleep at mine again if you don't want to go all the way home." She's slurring her words a bit, Allison nods, "You know, I really like you Em." Emily giggles, "I really like you too Allie." Allison lets her head rest on Emily's shoulder, "I really really like you." Allison lifts her head up, "Hm?" Emily shakes her head as a response, "Nothing."
