It's Saturday, Allison and Sarah are going out for coffee to catch up. They used to see each other daily so now they'd have to make up the lost time. Sarah got there first, ordering their usual drinks and sitting down at a table in the corner.
"Hey Hart" The brunette looks up to her friend walking towards the table, "Al!" She gets up, hugging her excitedly. "Awh, look who missed me" She huffs "I did not." Allison sits down, taking her coffee and asking some questions about Sarah' work.
"How's the BAU? Are they treating you right or do I need to get your stuff back out?" Allison laughs, "They're treating me real good. They're all nice people. The job is hard but it's been okay so far. My boss is a pain tho" Sarah frowns, "I mean she's a nice person, really. She's just so cold and stern in the office." She laughs, "I know you're not used to actually having a boss Allison, but that's what they're like, it's called professionalism."
They sit and talk for a while, "Hey did my replacement start yet? I read his file and he sounds great." Sarah shrugs "Nope, I've been all alone in the lab" She pouts dramatically, "You love having the lab to yourself, don't act like you're lonely Hart." "I do miss you, you know," Allison leans back in her chair, raising an eyebrow, "In the lab, as a colleague, because you're smart" She tries to save herself.
"You should come by the BAU Monday, we could go out for lunch?" Sarah smiles, "I'd like that!" Allison gives her a kiss ln the cheek, "See you Monday!" She gets in her car, driving back to her apartment. When she gets there she turns off her alarm and falls on the couch.
The rest of the weekend goes by fast, like it always does. Allison gets added to the BAU groupchat, she finally got the motivation to clean her apartment, she wasted time on Tiktok, went to the store and got a lot of sleep.
Allison couldn't stop thinking about the whole thing with Andrew and Prentiss. She doesn't look like someone who'd be scared easily, but he scared her. He made the team worried, which isn't that hard, probably. Emily doesn't look like a vulnerable person but when she walked out that bar she could be broken with just a touch.
When Monday comes around she tries to not think about it. When she walks in the BAU she realises that she's the first one there. Allison looks around, seeing the unit chiefs office lit up. She walk up the stairs and slowly knocks on the door, letter herself in. Emily looks up, "Hey boss, just wanted to ask if there's a case today" Emily chuckles at the nickname "I don't think so Thompson." Allison looks concerned, "Are you doing okay?" The brunette nods, "Just not sleeping well, thank you for asking though."
By the time she gets back to her desk Spencer and JJ have arrived too, giving her the distraction she needs. "Hey Spence, I'm meeting Sarah here today, do you want to leet your fellow genius?" his eyes light up, "I'd love to!" JJ smiles at seeing him so excited.
