the school day was moving by slow. you had skipped a couple days because of you being grounded, and now that you were back, you were starting to miss the free time you had.

you were especially impatient for when the day ended, because you knew what you were going to do once that final bell rang.

"uh, y/n? hello??" you heard, snapping out of your thoughts as you looked to your side. there chioma sat, an expression of slight worry vocalizing itself onto her african features. "yo, you good? you've been so out of it since you came back."

you shrugged slightly, slouching against your arm as you sighed in boredom. "yeah, i'm aight. this last hour is just going by so fucking slow." she nodded in agreement at your words. as the two of you continued conversing, your mind kept wandering back to the incident from the previous day.

it did kind of upset you that the person you thought was your friend turned out to be fake, but you weren't as devastated as you thought you'd be. if anything, it enraged you more than it made you sad.

you had taken the woman in when she had no friends, and the fact she talked shit behind your back was astonishing.

the sound of the bell invading your hearing had you immediately springing up out your seat, grabbing your bag and sprinting out the classroom. you didn't even blink twice at the sound of chioma calling for you, determined to get to your destination before the hallway became crowded.

standing in front of the classroom, carefully observing the different students that filed out, you waited. once your eyes landed on the specific woman you were waiting for, your arms reacted before you could, balling into fists and hitting her square in the jaw.

she stumbled back, palm against her now aching jaw as she looked back at you in utter disbelief. "what the fuck, y/n! what was that for?"

you glared, stalking towards her. "don't even play dumb, yuna. you talked shit while i was grounded, then proceeded to act like you was all innocent when i confronted you. then i find out you're spewing more nonsense after the argument? i told you i was gonna pull up, and now here the fuck i am."

by now a crowd had formed around the two of you, phones out and recording as they anticipated what would happen next.

"i already told you, i didn't say anything! you got it all wrong." she claimed, brows furrowed in anger. you laughed in her face, slamming her up against the lockers. you lowered your eyes, glaring down at her.

"listen closely, yuna. you already stated how much you dislike me, and how you never liked my friends and i in the first place, right?" your fingers snuck up onto her neck, pressing in harshly.

"this is the last time im ever going to show mercy." you watched as she stared at you in fear, tears forming in her eyes as you slowly restricted her breathing.

"let me hear anything about you again, and it won't just end with a couple bruises." retracting your hand, yuna falling to the ground as she took gulps of air, you sighed. "oh how i wish things didn't end up this way, but it's your fault! not mine. see ya."

you turned around, gripping the strap of your bag as you found your friends in the crowd. "bitch, you're fucking crazy."

you just laughed, shrugging. "niggas just need to know not to mess with me."
