Author's Note: I tried to make Hera and Zeb around a fair amount too, but I still feel like I'm ignoring them. =~= XD

"Done," announces Sabine as she sets down the paintbrush, and steps back to admire the newest artwork on her cabin wall. Chopper whistles in approval, and the holographic image he was displaying for her to paint based off of disappears.

It's a picture of her and Ezra working on painting that TIE fighter back on Lothal, from that moment he tipped the can of paint over and somehow managed to drench himself in it. She smiles in amusement for a moment at the memory of them trying to sneak back to the Ghost without Hera, Kanan, or Zeb noticing and clean up the mess. Never mind the huge waste it was, so she informed Ezra she was going memorialize every moment of the circus into paintings so they could never forget it. Of course, he pretended to be exasperated with her, though he found it just as funny.

It's something she never did finish doing... until now. She's been spending far more time than usual painting these days, she has to admit, which is saying something. When she's lost in painting something, the work and distraction can, at least for a time, temporarily distract her from the gaping hole in her heart. Painting helps so she's not constantly dwelling on her brother. She misses him so much, and it's a pain that never really goes away.

Putting her paintbrushes away, Sabine heads back out into the main hold of the ship, Chopper rolling along behind her. Zeb is sitting at the table, working on going through the information they have on trying to locate Ezra's parents. They have a whole database on it, but there's literally millions of names, and there's no way to know where in the galaxy they could even be specifically. It doesn't help that a lot of the information is incomplete, so it's not like they can search for names in the database either.

For whatever reason, the Lasat is looking a little more enthusiastic about everything than he has in a while. Did he find something? She tries to squash the spark of hope before it grows. They've been looking since even when Ezra was still here, and they still didn't find anything.

"Anything?" she queries finally, coming over to sit next to him.

"A number of possibilities, actually," Zeb informs.

What?! She perks up in surprise. "Really?"

"There's a few, in particular, that share parallel facts," Zeb replies, holding the datapad out to her. Sabine looks down on it, scanning over the list of names and the little information actually provided about them. For the most part, all the pictures of the people have been removed as have their names which is what makes it so difficult. But there's generally at least a little about them...

Her eyes finally fall on the information of the two people in particular Zeb was talking about. They were arrested on Lothal for treason eight years ago, like Ezra's parents. And they're still being kept in a prison on Lothal now. That really does fit. Maybe – maybe it's possible that this is who they've been looking for. She can't let herself get her hopes up, but at least it's a possibility.

"Where's Kanan?" Sabine demands, jumping to her feet, "We should tell him immediately. And Hera when she gets back."

"He's out sparring with Luke," Zeb answers.

Ever since Kanan and Ahsoka had returned from rescuing the boy from the Inquisitors, Obi-Wan has been training him. At times, Ahsoka or Kanan will spar with him as well. Sabine is pretty sure the only reason Kanan does in the first place is thanks to pressure from the others that he needs to actually do something, beyond dwelling on Ezra. Being around Luke seems to help him, at least to a point. Sabine herself has interacted with him on multiple occasions, and despite what happened to him only a month or so before, he pretty much always manages to be cheerful. She knows he's still being very badly affected by what happened, and has a long way to go in recovering, but still.
