Author's Note: Hopefully this isn't too cringy or boring or OOC style-trash. =D Anyway, finally they're going to talk to Ezra. ^-^

Sabine and Rex dive out of the way as the walker fires, but instead of aiming at them, it blasts the stormtroopers in front of them. The hatch on the top opens, and a smirking Zeb sticks his head out. Oh. Oh. She's not going to ask how he even managed that.

"We need to clear away from the building. Kanan says he has it handled," Sabine calls. And the last thing they need is to get caught in the explosion.

Zeb drops back down into the walker and starts shooting at the walkers. With a walker on their side, they have the advantage now. A bunch of the other ones go down before they even know what hit them. As soon as the stormtroopers realize what's going on, they start shooting up at the walker, and Sabine is quick to make herself useful, firing back at them.

She feels the ground shaking before it even happens, and then all at once the walls of the bunker collapse in on themselves as the entire thing explodes. Debris flies everywhere, and Sabine dives behind one of the nearby trees for cover to avoid getting injured in the demolition. Relief and sudden fear wash over her.

Relief that the shield is finally down, and the air attack should be able to succeed after all. But where are Kanan and Ezra? He wouldn't be so stupid as to blow it up when they were still inside, would he? She glances around furtively but doesn't see anyone anywhere. Not that there's much she can do right now, anyway, except throw herself back into the battle.

He tries to push off the rubble on him, but it's far too heavy, especially when he's in a state like this. His head is spinning right now, and not only because he definitely hit it hard from the explosion. He failed the mission. Again. The Seventh Sister warned him last time... He swallows against the panic suddenly surging in him.

The pain of the electro-whip burning across his back hangs far too prominently on his mind for his liking – from after he failed the last mission. He can't fail this time. But at the same time – that man. He tries to blink away the... memories? he'd gotten after the previous mission. The Seventh Sister was right. It's distracting him. He needs to focus, or he's going to get punished again. Even if the shield generator is destroyed, he can still stop the Jedi. He has to.

He looks up at the sudden movement to find the Jedi making his way through the ruins before finally jumping down next to him. The Jedi raises his hands and starts lifting the debris of off him with the Force. What is he doing? Why is he helping him? Especially when he's injured too?

He doesn't take the time to question it, stumbling shakily to his feet as soon as the Jedi steps back. He glances around briefly. His lightsaber is gone, but that's fine. He can still fight. He has to. In a flash, he lunges at the man, punching him hard in the stomach.

The man stumbles a step back, but for some reason, doesn't react other than that. "Ezra, you know me," the man insists.

The images flash through his mind again. No, no, he can't – He punches Kanan again, hard. "No, I don't!" he growls back at him.

"Yes, you do," he argues.

"No!" Ezra snarls.

"I'm not going to fight you," the man insists, even as he punches him again.

He kicks him to the ground – surprisingly easily, probably since he's both injured and not really resisting. "You're my mission."

He punches him in the face. "You're my mission," he repeats again.
