Ahaarika Sharma as Aryan Khan's assistant.Ahaarika Sharma POV:
My fingers gripped onto the file hard, nails almost scraping their way through. I took a few deep breaths before raising my right hand and balling it into a fist. I timidly tapped onto the frosted glass of the office door that belonged to my boss, Aryan Khan.
Mr Khan may be the wisest individual I have ever met but he is by far the utmost coldest and rudest soul I have ever encountered. In the past eight months that I have worked as his personal assistant, I have not seen one individual who does not shake with fear before meeting him.
Unlike others, my job requires me to present myself in front of him everyday. I am forced to follow his every order, listen to every command and endure an earful after every mistake. But I would be lying if that secretly did not turn me on.
I pushed the door open and forced my body to make it's way in. My boss, as always, kept his eyes fixed onto his laptop. The sound of my heels clicking against the floor competed with the sound of his long, slender fingers tapping against the keys of his laptop.
I gathered my courage and prayed my voice wouldn't shake as I finally spoke up, "Your file Mr Khan" He didn't respond, not a surprise. I started to place the file gently onto the desk but a sudden shift in my boss's posture startled me and the file slipped from my hand, dropping onto the desk with a thud.
My body froze, my hands remained in their position and my eyes shut awaiting a scolding. I stood for what felt like an eternity but I heard no yelling. I carefully opened my eyes and lifted only my head.
The moment I looked up, I was left in awe. I analysed the situation and it appeared that Mr Khan found my reaction amusing and was chuckling to himself at my current state. I cleared my throat and jolted up from my position.
"That may have made my day" I looked at his smile, it was the first time I had ever seen it but perhaps I looked too long. "Do you always look like a deer in front of headlights?" "Huh?" He raised his brow, "Or are you just checking out your boss?" Panicked washed over me as I scrambled to find the right words, "No! I mean...uh...no Mr Khan...I...I shall leave you now"
I stopped dead on my tracks when my boss said, "You'll leave when I tell you to leave" I've always had a weak spot for the way he orders me around. The sound of the clock ticking challenged the silence of the room. This wasn't my first late night at the office but the tension in the air seemed unfamiliar.
Aryan stood from his seat and placed his hands in his pockets. He strode along the desk and made his way towards me. I slowly turned myself so I was facing him. I planted my eyes onto the floor and observed his shoes. "Look up" His cold voice hit my ears, sending shivers down my spine.
I raised my head unwillingly and looked into his eyes. He stepped forward so he was merely inches away from my face. I watched him lean forward and whisper with his hot breath hitting my face, "Do I make you nervous?" My breath hitched at his raspy voice. It made me feel like I shouldn't. "I-I suppose...you may have that affect on people"
He let his eyes fall onto my lips and slowly rise to my eyes as if scanning my countenance. "Good" He brought his lips closer to my neck. His breath warmed my body as I felt him take in my fragrance.
"You shouldn't have dropped the file" I struggled to breathe while he explored around my nape without touching me. "I-I ap-apologise" Our eyes met again as he brought his face back up, "Not good enough. You need to be punished"
One should run out upon hearing words like these but I was intrigued by his command. I've had fantasies about him throughout the past few months. I would be lying if I were to say I didn't steal glances of him every now and then.
