The stars twinkle at night,
the beauty of its light glistens in your eyes,
drawing me in,
to the very essence of your soul,
into your very being,
who are you?
where's the person I knew,
the one I was so immune to,
where have you been?
this feeling,
on my skin,
maybe that's what the laws of attraction are,
is that what this is?
this fire under my skin,
why does it burn only for you;
this you.
why am I so suddenly intrigued?
what changed?
are you the same person I wished I never met?
Never!
You're so much more than the person I thought I knew.
I just wish we weren't so different.- j.d.r
