I fell in love with you.
But now you're a perfect stranger,
You're the inspiration of my poetry.
And I still love you;
A part of me regrets ever falling.
You're who I want to be with,
You're all I ever want.
Why can't I be the same?
How do I put this love on mute?
How do I end this cycle?
How do I get over the first person I've loved in years?
You hurt me.
But I allow it every time.
Funny how my heart runs to you,
knowing she'll only be broken,
And my eyes,
they look at you willing to shed these tears again.
My mind's a mess,
Because my future is with no one else but you.
You are my apocalypse.
