A/N: Hello, everyone! Welcome back, I understand that the last few chapters were quite lengthy, so this one will be a bit shorter. I've dedicated this chapter to Jesus and Emma, as we never had the chance to see their love story play out on screen, so this will flashback to their time in India and then back to the present day.  I hope you enjoy this chapter.

As always, I want to clarify that I do not own any characters from "The Fosters" or "Good Trouble." Thank you for your continued support.

After the trial, Jesus and Emma returned to their new apartment. The weight of the trial's revelations and the emotional rollercoaster had left them in need of some time to reflect on their love story. As they settled in, there was an underlying tension between them.

Jesus: (sighs) Emma, we need to talk.

Emma: (nervous) What's on your mind, Jesus?

They sat on the couch, facing each other, and Jesus began to express his concerns.

Jesus: (concerned) I can't believe you kept the secret of the terminated pregnancy from me. It was our child, Emma. I should have known. Yes, we've been through a lot, but we were married, and we got back from the hospital earlier than Mariana. I had to find out in court. We should have faced this together.

Emma: (teary-eyed) I was scared, Jesus. I didn't know how you'd react. I didn't want to burden you, especially during the trial.

Jesus: (frustrated) Burden me? Emma, we're supposed to share everything. I want to be there for you, no matter what. But you didn't give me that chance.

Emma's eyes welled up with tears as she tried to explain.

Emma: (upset) I thought I was protecting you. I was afraid this revelation would break us, that you'd leave, just like you did before. I couldn't bear the thought of losing you.

Their argument escalated, and Emma ended up sad and tearful, staring out the window.

Jesus, needing some space, got up and walked to the other side of the apartment. After a moment of silence, he spoke.

Jesus: (calmer) Emma, I need some time to think. Can we please have some space for a while?

Emma nodded, her tears falling. Jesus left the apartment, and Emma, with a cup of tea in hand, found herself overwhelmed by memories.

|----------------------Flash back to their time in India---------------------------------------------|

It was a regular day in Mumbai, India. Jesus was on his daily walk, exploring the streets and absorbing the vibrant culture. He had been in India for about three weeks when he spotted her, a familiar face in an unfamiliar place.

Jesus approached Emma with a hesitant but hopeful smile.

Jesus: (nervous) Emma?

Emma looked up, a surprised expression on her face.

Emma: (bewildered) Jesus?

They stared at each other, unable to believe the coincidence of their meeting.

Jesus: (smiling) I can't believe it's you. What are you doing here in Mumbai?

Emma: (playing it cool) Oh, you know, just exploring the world. What about you?

Jesus: (playfully) Same here. I guess fate has a funny way of bringing people back together.

As they chatted, it became clear that Emma was playing hard to get, trying to keep her emotions in check. But Jesus was persistent.
