I woke due the light that was shining in my eyes.

Shine bright like a diamond.

I sighed and decided to get out of bed and changed into my team kit.

On the way to the circuit, I scrolled through my phone.

I got a message from the same girl as when I was at the airport in Spain with the guys.

Madison.

'I want to make up for the past. I am going to the Bahrein Grand Prix. My dad got us paddock tickets so I hope I will see you. Good luck this weekend if I don't see you' the text read.

I let out a sigh.

I do that a lot recently.

"Who is that on your phone to make sigh?" My mom asked me.

I looked at her.

"Madison. Remember the girl from my school?" I asked my mom.

She nodded.

"Well she texted me when Lando, Max and I were on vacation in Spain. Saying that she wanted to meet up again"

"But you and I both know what she all did and said so I didn't reply"

"She just texted me again saying that her dad bought her paddock tickets for this Grand Prix and that she hopes to see me, so that she can make things right again"

"I don't know if I should believe her" I said.

Mom nodded.

"I know what she all said to you. And I still hate her for that. I really do. I think she wants to be friends because of where you are now" she said.

"She is just jealous that you made it into formula one and that she never got better at playing field hockey. Maybe she knows that you are still best friends with Lando and she might has a crush on him"

"I don't know, all I know that this is way too sudden. Just do whatever you think is right. But be careful please" mom said.

I nodded.

"Thank you mom" I said.

I noticed that my mom was very excited when we walked through the gates.

She happily waved at the photographers and they waved back.

I chuckled at her behavior.

We sat down in the corner of the hospitality and I grabbed us some breakfast.

I saw Liam standing in the corner and I grabbed a full plate of scrambled eggs and a sausage.

Liam came towards me.

"Before you start, this is for mom not for me. We were in a hurry so we didn't had the time for breakfast. I have my meal in my bag, don't worry" I said very quick and I grabbed a croissant.

"I was just going to say good morning" he said.

"Sure"

I saw that two people had joined the table.

Max and his mother.

"Good morning Max and Sophie" I said as I sat down.

I got a grumpy good morning from Max.

"Good morning" Sophia aka Max's mom said.

I gave the plate to my mom.

She smiled, and thanked me.
