Pole position

I woke up due to the sound of the shower. 

I dragged myself out of bed and put my normal clothes on.

Put my team kit in my bag to put on after the practice.

Once my mom got out of the shower, I washed myself.

The warm water felt great on my back.

Once mom and I were both ready and I closed the door behind us.

"Last night was different than I expected. Charles and his brother are very nice" mom said.

"They are indeed very nice. Last night was better than I thought. It was awkward in the beginning but later on it went better" I said. 

Mom nodded and we went to the elevator.

"Please hold the doors!" I heard someone yell. 

"Oh hey. Thanks" Charles said.

"No worries and good morning" I said.

"Good morning ready for the last practice before your first ever qualifying session in Formula one?" Charles asked as the doors closed.

"I am very ready but also a bit nervous" I said.

"Don't be you can do it, I am sure of it" he said.

"How's the pace of the Ferraris looking?" I asked.

"Not so good, but maybe that can change during the season" Charles said, I nodded.

"I am assuming you know Madison" he said.

"Yes I do, we went to the same school" I said.

He nodded. 

"She is.." Charles started but stopped.

"Yeah" I dragged out. 

We parted way as soon as we arrived at the restaurant. 

Liam sat at a table with a pre-made breakfast I groaned and Mom chuckled.

"I wanted eggs" I said.

"Don't worry I will get some extra" mom said smirking, I gave her a grateful smile.

I sat down at Liams table. 

He looked up and gave me a big smile.

"Good morning" he said while shoving the pre-meal towards me.

"Good morning" I muttered.

He chuckled at my childish behavior and carried on with his normal breakfast.

I began to eat it and mom gave Liam a kiss on his cheek and sat next to me.

She smirked and showed me the extra scrambled eggs. 

I smirked back and ate my pre-meal.

Liam stood up after a while.

"I am going to get some yogurt, mom do you want something?" he asked.

"No thank you" she replied.

"Emma do you want something?"

"Yes I would like to have a normal breakfast" I said.

Liam shook his head while laughing and he walked away.

Mom quickly put the scrambled eggs on a tea plate and I chucked them down.

"Thank you so much mom, you are a life saver" I said making her laugh.

"No problem I wouldn't survive on that either" mom said.
