A/n: I'm sorry I haven't updated in a while, really bad writers block. Also I really need to stop doing like really big time skips, because that's not good. It shortens the story. I don't know how much longer this story will go on. hopefully for at least 12 more chapters, that would be great. Uhh yea that's all I have to say. I hope you like this chapter:)
During the Next few weeks Jimmy and I got even closer. I would go to most of his games when they played at home, and we just had a really good time together. I was always hanging out with him and his teammates. Being his girlfriend, I kinda have to do I mean, idk.
After the text conversation I had with Luke about Jimmy he has been extremely cold to me. I know that being the only sister with 3 brothers, they can get pretty overprotective but this was different. Luke never acted like this, he always let be me and was chill about everything. Normally it would be Quinn or Jack who acted like this, maybe Luke knows something I don't.
The following days, it was time to get ready for the annual Christmas party that my family threw every year. Quinn and Jack were able to make their way down to see the family and we were all having a great time.

This might be an issue. I didn't know that Cole was coming, and chances are Nicole is coming with him. This is for sure going to be one eventful Christmas party. With Jimmy knowing about the whole Cole situation I'm scared he might try something if he sees him.
I hadn't really said anything to anyone about this, but Jimmy seemed to have an issue with Cole. I don't know why he does, Cole is my best friend. He should respect that. Plus, Cole had Nicole, so there was no reason for him to be salty about him.
That night, I was over at J's house hanging out. We didn't really want to go out for dinner, so we decided to hang out at his place and watch Step Brothers. It reminded me of when I had fallen asleep on Cole at the cabin. That made me think, this might be a good time to ask Jimmy about Cole. Or so I thought.
"Hey J, I have a question."
"What's up?"
"So, I've been thinking. Whenever I bring up Cole you seem to always immediately shut me down. Why's that?"
Jimmy hesitated for a minute before answering.
"Well Fin, I just feel like he's trying to take you from me and I don't like it."
"Are you serious right now? He has a girlfriend, and plus I would never cheat on you or just leave you for no reason. He's my best friend, and I just want you two to like each other. You're going to be around each other much more considering he's coming down here for the off-season."
