What is a humanoid?

A humanoid is a robot that takes the shape of a human. That means this robot has a head, 2 arms, 2 legs, and a torso.

Humanoids are created to look exactly or aesthetically like a human, just the form or shape are supposed to resemble a human.

An example of a humanoid would be Pepper. (Picture of Pepper is at the top, in the banner of this chapter) Pepper is an interactive, social humanoid. Pepper is capable of socializing, reading emotions, and recognizing faces.

Humanoids are made to fit and interact in a human environment.

Size is questionable with humanoids. Humanoids take the looks of humans, but do they have to be the same size? Maybe, maybe not, since humanoids strive to have the shape or form of a human. (Head, torso, 2 legs, and 2 arms.) The height of the humanoid is the creator's decision.
