"And remember that time when you ate that crayon!" You doubled up in laughter and held onto the car seatbelt for support.

"In my defence, I was only 6." Jack J smiled, holding up his hands in surrender.

You could hear Jack G chuckle from the front seat.

"Or that time when we all went swimming," Jack Gilinsky started,"And Johnson's tru- "

"- that story does not need to be retold or heard ever again!" Jack J cut him off as he started to go red.

You giggled as Jack J tried to hit Jack G through the gap between the front seats. Gilinsky pulled up the car, reversing into a space outside the park. You opened the car door and jumped out onto the sidewalk, your red converses hitting the concrete. The Jack's followed soon after.

"You ready?"

Of course you were. You'd heard so much about the boys that went on the Magcon tour with the Jack's , but never had met any of them. You were beyond excited.

You walked over to the centre of the park, each arm linked with ones of the Jack's. You headed towards a mass of teenage boys all sitting on the grass, one gently strumming a guitar and others playing waterbottle catch.

The Jack's ran up ahead, shouting random names and bundling on a few of the Magcon boys , leaving you to awkwardly walk over. After that frenzy had finished, you were introduced to everyone. You smiled and took a seat on the grass, sitting beside Shawn. He was the only one looking calm and not on his phone, so you thought you might be able to have a decent conversation.

"So how long have you know the Jack's for? " Shawn asked, attempting to make small talk.

"Oh, since I was 4, since kindergarten. We've all been so close since."

"Cool, I wish you'd of come along to some of the old Magcon's, I could of met you sooner."He smiled

"Yeah," you laughed nervously.

"Umm, if you don't mind me asking have you and Johnson ever been, well, a thing?"

"No, always been just friends. Why'd you ask?"

" Well he keeps on staring at you. Like, really closely, and every time you turn around he looks away."

You furred you eyebrows together. Perhaps he was just being protective, he was like your older brother sometimes.

"Like, watch," Shawn moved his head closer to yours and whispers seductively into your ear, "He's looking kind of pissed at me for doing this. "

Could Jack really have a thing for you? You are best friends- Nothing more, or so you thought.

"I have another idea, I'm going to tell you a really bad pick up line, and you twirl your hair and laugh okay? I'll watch his reaction."

Shawn brung his head round sassily, and looked at me in the eye, "Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?"

You couldn't help but laugh now, and following his instructions, you twirled your hair around your finger. Among the other noises of the park, you could hear Jack J cough super loudly, it was his attention cough.

Shawn smirked, he'd obviously heard it too. He shifted himself in closer to you, leant his head close to your neck and whispered, "Don't turn around yet, it's working,"

You heard a louder cough and felt a tap on your back, you jumped round. It was Jack J. His eyes were dark and his jaw was clenched.

"Um, can I speak to you for a sec?" He talked to the ground, refusing to meet yours or Shawn's gaze.

You looked back at Shawn and smiled before turning back to Jack.

"Okay,"

You stood up and brushed yourself off. Jack had already stormed off towards this huge tree a few meters away. He disappeared round the back, out of sight from anyone and you followed.

"So," You lazily lent onto the trunk of the tree, waiting for him to start talking. He didn't. He didn't even look up from the ground. You sighed and picked at your nail polish.

"Maika?" You looked up as he said your name, only to feel him crash his lips onto yours.

You kissed back, it felt natural. He placed his hands on the trees trunk, either side of you, still kissing you passionately.

He sharply pulled away, leaving you both out of breath. Jack smiled and put his forehead against yours,

"I knew I should've done that sooner."
