You know that Jack is the best boyfriend that anyone could ever have. He was kind, humble, sweet - everything that a girl could ever ask for. So when he surprised you with tickets to a Janoskians concert, you knew he was perfect.
3 hours later, and here you were. Standing right infront of the stage, but still behind the barrier of course. The atmosphere was amazing, stuffy, but amazing. Blue UV lights shone down from the ceiling, making your white Janoskians T-shirt stand out in the darkness. Along with that, you were wearing cropped denim shorts and red converse.
You felt a tap on your shoulder and you turned round. It was Jack.
"Y/N, I'll be back in a minute, I promise."
" Where are you go-" but before you could finish your question, he had disappeared into the crowd.
You felt a pang of sadness. You had become increasingly concerned over the past couple months. Jack would just disappear sometimes, with no explanation. You often wondered why and where to scared to face the possible truth- that he might be cheating on you. You sighed and rested your arms on the barrier. Jack G's girlfriend Y/F/N, had also found that her Jack had be doing the same thing. I thought he was the one but I guess things change.
Cheesy chart music suddenly blares out of the speakers. That means the concert was starting soon, the backing acts will perform. Jack still hadn't come back. Perhaps he had just got lost in the crowd because he went to by nachos or something. But that didn't change the fact that he didn't give me a reason.
The lights on the stage flare up. Green sparklers erupt from the side as a girl walks on waving.
"Give it up for Elvira Heyes!"
(If you've read my other book 'The Exchange' you will get this)The crowd cheer as she gingerly sits down at a piano stool and starts to play. She is incredible, but you still feel vulnerable because Jack isn't here. She plays on for about half an hour, piano melodies echoing around the stadium as she sings. When she stands up and bows, the stadium claps and cheers.
Jack still wasn't here.
The stage darkens and you can see figures of the stage crew taking away the piano. Only one figure remains as the stage re-illuminates. He has blonde hair, a cheeky grin and you recognise him instantly.
Jack.
He speaks into the microphone that he's holding,
"When I was little, my friend once asked me what I wanted to be. I said I wanted to be a performer, and I wanted to make people happy. She said to me, ' Jack, you make me happy', and I guess that's why, after 12 years of friendship. I asked her to be my girlfriend."
The crowd awwed and you blushed a dark crimson.
"For her to have put up with me for these past 2 years is incredible, and I love her for that. For the past few months, I've been practicing, because I've only got half of my dream completed. I've got my dream girl, and now it's time to become a performer."
The crowd cheered, it was deafening.
The stage went dark for a second and once it remit up, there was another figure by Jack J, it was Jack G.
All you could hear was screaming. You guess the crowd was very happy that two very attractive boys were standing in front of them.
Jack G got thrown a microphone, which he nearly missed, and held it at the ready.
A bass/drum beat started to blaze out the speakers.
"This ones called Distance!" Yelled Jack G.
You joined in with the crowd, screaming and jumping around.
When Jack J started to rap, you have never screamed so loud nor been so pround.
He'd accomplished his dream and so had you. He was your dream boy.
