We all have moments like this in life. Where we are vulnerable but act impassive. We're desperate but pretend we don't care. All because our emotions becomes our weaknesses and eventually turns into enemies at such situations so we play the trick and wait until we are given what we wanted or needed.

And that's exactly what they all did, awaited.

Jackson could feel what was coming at him the moment he voiced out his willingness. But then again, there weren't much favourable options on his part anyway.

Taking the longest minutes of his entire life Jackson speaks up.

Jackson : down the corridor there's a lab....the anti-drug shot is there frozen in a locker.

Following his instructions Jimin and V found the locker where a glass box containing two individual coloured shot frozen were kept. Sharing one curt nod they took it out with stiff shoulders.

And soon it was bought it to where Y/n and everyone else were, catching each and every persons eye present there that day.

Kang Yeong : there are two different kind...

Kang Yeong thought out loud as he examined the green and yellow substances caged in injective shots.

Jackson : ....yes, but the yellow shot is the anti-drug shot.

Daniel : and the green one?

Jacksons eyes sharpened before he regained his composure.

Jackson : it's the drug.

Though Jackson was quick but Jungkook was quicker. He had his eyes transfixed on him during the entire interaction so the brief changes of Jacksons behavior did not escape his sight.

Yoongi : we have to hurry up, there's only few minutes are left before the antidote becomes pointless for Y/ns recovery.

V : he's right...

After some nervous glances were exchanged here and there, Ji Sooyeon volunteers to inject the anti-drug for Y/n.

Ji Sooyeon : Let me, I know how these things are done.

When she received most approvals she came forward and held the shot before pressing it a little bit to let the fluid be in accurate texture.

While she moves forward towards Y/ns bed where A/n stood with her eyes examining the yellow substance in Ji Sooyeons hand with a slight furrow between her eyebrows, Jacksons heart races inside him as his mother crossed him and was now ready to inject the almost dead.

Ji Sooyeon bends down and wipes the skin on Y/ns left forearm with sanitizer before she positions the needle there. And right that moment Jungkook watches as Jacksons eyelids darkended a shade darker. A monstrous satisfaction was beginning to form on his features when-

A/n : stop!

Everyones head snapped towards her while hers remained on Y/ns forearm where the needle now poked a little bit with light pressure.

Ji Sooyeon : what's wrong?

A/n : pull it out.

Ji Sooyeon pulled the needle out as confusion clouded her vision like everyone else.

A/n : it's not the antidote.

Ji Sooyeon : what..?

A/n : it's the poison, the drug.

Jimin : how would you know that? It's the only one we found in there..

A/n looks up at Jimin and answers.

A/n : yes, but it's the drug not the antidote.

Kang Yeong : how can you be so sure? Do you have any proof?

A/n : I-I don't and I don't know how but.......I have a gut feeling it's not the one.

Yoongi : A/n....

A/n : I know I don't make any sense right now, Yoongi but.....what if I'm right? What if she's shot with the wrong one? We cannot put any-

Daniel : but Jackson just confirmed it and no one knows better than him about it here...

V : he could be lying.

Now it was V whom everyone stared and waited for an explanation.

V : We don't know what wicked games he could be playing. Maybe he's tricking to kill her-

Jackson : if I wanted to kill her, I wouldn't have given the antidote to you in the first place. Don't you think?

He was met with silence as everyone considered his words and found them right.

Jackson : besides, I was given a good reason to tell which was the right one.

Little did they all knew, he had stated a negative meaning to that line which was mistaken to most at that time.

Jungkook : he's right...

A too innocent curve of his lips was seen before Jungkooks next words wiped it clean.

Jungkook : however, we couldn't take any risks as A/n pointed so....why not experiment it on you first, Jackson?
