Chapter 4

• Royal Academy of Diavolo •
~ Diavolo's pov:

Is it just me, or does the brothers are acting somewhat.. weird? Not in a bad way of course, but:
• Lucifer have been sighing ever since they arrived.
• Mammon didn't attempt to skip the meeting.
• Leviathan plays his Nintendo(?) once in a while. Well, yes. He does play games but not rarely is what I'm trying to say.
• Satan keeps glancing over at Lucifer every now and then through the book he's reading.
• Asmodeus keeps suggesting a lot of nail paint colour to Lucifer, saying the older brother should keep the gloves away once in a while. Not any difference there, but still.
• Beelzebub sat so close to Lucifer, and sometimes push Asmo off of him.
• Belphegor doesn't have any change, but he keeps his eyes from closing and literally watching Lucifer, Beelzebub and Asmodeus.

Barbatos clears his throat to get their attention, I know that he actually knows how I feel about this atmosphere amongst the brothers. I need explanation as to why they're being like this.

"Young Lord, I assume that you felt out of place?" - Barbatos

I nodded with a smile, of course, in agreement to Barbatos' guess. Clearing my throat as I look at the brothers in front of me:
"Is there something I should know about as to why you all are acting quite weird today? Unless it's between family, then I understand enough not to get any answer."

I could see Lucifer about to speak up, but he was caught of by Asmodeus slamming the table and raised his hand:
"Yes, my Lord! I have something to say for this-"

"Asmo."

Asmodeus quickly shut his mouth when his name was called out by Lucifer. I could feel his aura menacing but his scent is sort of hiding something from me.

And that is something I definitely wouldn't know of, unless he tells me. Lucifer then lowers his head to his hand, most likely to pinch his forehead as he usually do when he's disappointed in something.

He sighed. Glaring at his younger brothers deeply, making them sweats and stays quiet;
"My apologies for the inconvenient, my lord. But I'm afraid these are most likely a family problem."

I nodded, understand to not question any further. But that doesn't mean it doesn't bother me.

"Very well then. Let's start our today's meeting, shall we?"

~ Lucifer's pov:

The meeting has ended. I let my brothers leave the room first, just to make sure they won't do anything unnecessary if I had left first. Which now it leaves only me, Lord Diavolo and Barbatos.

"Say, Lucifer. Is it possible for you to be here during the Omega heat season? I have something to tell you during then."

I stopped arranging the papers as Diavolo voiced out. He wants to meet me, that's not a surprise. But why specifically on that season?

"My Lord, I'm afraid I won't have time to meet you then. As I have to make sure Asmo doesn't leave the dormitory nor encounter with any Alpha during the heat."

"Yes, I know how you want your only Omega brother to be safe during the season. But can't you let your other brothers take your place in doing so?"

I sighed;
"It's not that I don't trust them. But they are all immature, and may cause a ruckus if I leave them together."

Seemingly thinking of what I said, Diavolo quieted down but his pair of golden eyes is staring into me deeply. Making my soul shudder to pieces. But I can't seem to break the contact. As if he glued my eyes to his.

This went on for another moment. Before I averted my eyes away, back to the papers I should be arranging before going back to the dormitory.

"My apologies, My Lord. But I have to leave right this moment. If you need anything, please contact me."

I turned my heels to walk out of the room.

"Lucifer."

I, once again, stopped at my tracks. Turning to face the prince despite the uneasiness rushing through my veins;
"Yes, My Lord?"

He, again, stared into my eyes. But fortunately it doesn't last long than before;
"If you can't come to school during then.."

He gets silent for a moment, before continuing his words.

"..Then I'll come to the House of Lamentation."

• House of Lamentation •
~ No one's pov:

Lucifer has left the student council room, making his way to his assigned dormitory: House of Lamentation.

Even though the weight on his shoulders are heavy, he remain calm and collected to show that he has no problems.

The other 6 brothers already left the school so they should be in the dorm by now. But seeing that there are only 4 of them there, Lucifer knew who left the dorm, again.

But he's too worn-out to think about scolding them. What he needs to do right now is to think of a plan to make Diavolo change his mind about meeting him – or much rather, coming to HoL and see him.

Omega heat season:

A season that last for a week, a whole week. A weather that effects Omega to feel the heat. By feel, I meant "extremely" feel the pressure of heat.

And that whole week, is when Omega students should remain in their dorms, as that time of the month would get them pregnant when mating with a suitable partner of theirs.

Diavolo made an exception for Lucifer: reminder – The whole school, includes Diavolo and Barbatos, doesn't know Lucifer is an Omega except his brothers.

Lucifer's reason for this is to make sure Asmodeus doesn't sneakily went out to partying or get involved with any Alpha during then for the whole week.

Which, of course, had Lucifer put a curse on Asmo, keeping him from leaving the doem. But sometimes, Solomon would visit the dormitory once every two weeks.

How bad is Lucifer's luck? Having to deal with an extreme extravagant of a younger brother and his own heat. He, himself, didn't even want to think of good lucks.

He just had to deal with the troubles his brothers cause. He sighed as he took out his D.D.D out of his pocket. He doesn't even remember how many times he's been sighing at this point.

He taps on the '7 brothers' groupchat, and starts typing furiously. Getting his frustration out on his D.D.D and virtually on his brothers.

Lucifer:

Lucifer:
You two better be home right this instance or else. -00:25

Mammon:
EH?! -00:26

Mammon:
But I just left an hour ago! -00:26

Asmo:
I'm with Solomon right now. -00:26

Asmo:
I can't leave him here alone with a bunch of hot demons, Nii-sama ♥ -00:27

Lucifer:
I'm giving you 2 minutes. -00:27

Lucifer:
By then, you two will already be home. -00:27

Lucifer:
Or I'll track you two down and drag you back here myself. -00:28

Asmo:
Aww.. :( -00:29

Mammon:
Eeeck! -00:29

Lucifer:
. -00:29

Meanwhile Lucifer scolding his two troublesome brothers, Diavolo hasn't left his seat ever since as his eyes glued to the door when Lucifer had left.

"Barbatos."

"Yes, young master?"

"Has Lucifer.. always smelled sweet this whole time?"
