Chapter 9

• The Royal Palace •
~No one's pov:

Lucifer's pride had left him as he pulled Diavolo into a kiss, his arms around Diavolo's neck. The fallen angel is really into it, his lips on the prince's soft ones.

The fallen angel then pulled Diavolo from him, their faces are just a few inches away from eachother: enough for the both of them to make eye contact.

They stayed staring into eachother's eyes for a moment, their position: Diavolo on top of Lucifer, his hands on either sides of the fallen angel's body and Lucifer being under Diavolo, his arms wrapped on the prince's neck.

Lucifer realised what he did and averted his eyes away from the other demon, his face reddened even more at his action. Even the position is making him feel embarrassed.

"Dia-"

Diavolo stopped Lucifer from speaking, with a kiss. The prince's arms pulled the fallen angel's hips, which made his legs wrapped around the prince's waist.

Lucifer is surprised by this action, but soon give in and their lips are in sync as the kiss starts to get deep. These two demons are caught up in the moment.

Diavolo, then starts unbuttoning Lucifer's shirt as he planted a kiss on the fallen angel's jawline and lower, making the raven haired demon whimpers sensitively.

When an Omega is in heat, their body would became a lot sensitive to an Alpha's touch, which explains why Lucifer trembles and flinched when Diavolo grabbed his wrist. — ( Chapter 8, paragraph 11, in Diavolo's pov )

Diavolo planted more kisses on Lucifer's skin, now on his neck and collarbone. The fallen angel's usually covered body is now revealed to the demon prince's sight.

The prince took a moment to scan the demon under him: Lucifer's cheeks being all red through that fair skin of his, his soft lips slightly apart from eachother, his now bare chest pumping up and down as he breathe, his thighs on the prince's making them close.

"D-diavolo.."

"Hm?"

"What- are you w-waiting for-.."

"I'm just savoring the sight in front of me, Luci.. It's not everyday I get to see this side of you.."

Lucifer blushed harder, if that were possible. The fallen angel looked away, getting all flustered from the prince's comment about him.

Diavolo chuckled at this adorable expression of the fallen angel, he leaned down and gives Lucifer another small kiss on the cheek. His hands are on Lucifer's torso, caressing them slowly.

"Now, I have a question for you.."

Lucifer tries not to flinch at Diavolo's touches and his eyes looked at the demon above him from the side.

"W-what..?"

The prince put a hand on Lucifer's cheek, turning his head towards himself so he could look at the fallen angel's beautiful face better, slight concern in his golden orbs.

"You seemed to have calm down now, Luci.."

The raven haired demon blinked. Even though he still feels like he needs Diavolo, his body and pheromones does calm down. Is it because Diavolo's here?

Well, Lucifer does realised that the moment they entered the room. His scent weren't as strong as before, but that doesn't change the fact that he's still in heat.

"That's.. not a question, Diavolo.."

They both stared into eachother's eyes. Lucifer's hands on Diavolo's chest, while Diavolo's on Lucifer's cheeks. The prince lowered himself down and kissed the fallen angel again. Real soft.

"What I meant is: is it alright if we continue?"

Another page being flipped to the next, another book is being scanned by the eyes of ocean blue, engulfed themselves on the letters and words written in the book:

An angel and a human.

A story of a beautiful angel who is fond of a human, unaware of circumstances. In the book, the two were so happy together and had a memorable life.

Half of this book is quite similar to Lilith's love story, an angel who fell in love with a human. But the last half of the book is somehow.. a huge turn of events.

The human had died giving birth to twins, leaving the angel with the responsibility of 2 human babies. But since he's an angel, he can't afford to stay in the human world much longer and had left the babies at the orphanage.

Even though the angel have left his own kids at a place with more other kids, he still get to watch them grow healthy and happy from far away.

"Satan?"

The said demon snapped out of his book's fantasy and looked up at the person who had called him: Barbatos.

"Oh, sorry. Did you say something, Barbatos?"

The blonde Alpha took a short glance across the room to see Simeon had already gone to bed. Barbatos and Simeon were talking with each other about some new recipes they might want to try while Satan was reading.

Barbatos, the demon lord's loyal butler and steward, did I mention that he's a Beta though? I didn't? Oh well. The certain butler smiles at the blonde demon;
"It's almost past 10. I think you should get some rest before tomorrow, Satan."

The blonde demon didn't even realised hours have past because he's too fond of reading. This is somehow his daily routine: reading until the late of night.

"Ah, right.. Force of habit, I guess.."

Satan marked the page and put down the book on the night stand next to his bed. Before he settles on the bed, he looked at Barbatos.

"I've been meaning to ask."

Barbatos sat down on the bed and turned back to the Alpha next to him, an eyebrow raised;
"And that is?"

"This so-called "sleepover", was it so Lord Diavolo could be Lucifer, by any chance?"

"Hm.. I can't say that's the case, Satan. But the young master sure is enthusiastic."

"Excited? What do you mean by that?"

"Well, you could ask Asmodeus or Solomon about it. Right now, it is time for bed."

Barbatos then closed the lights and tuck himself to sleep, leaving Satan still questioning in the dark.

The blonde demon glanced at Simeon – whose on the other side of the room; Barbatos' bed is between theirs, and wondered:
"Does an Omega have to have only an Alpha?"

Seeing Simeon reminded him of Lucifer. An Omega who blend in with Alphas without any problem, but now that Lucifer couldn't endure Diavolo..

Then what about Simeon? Will he end up like Lucifer too?
