Snapped

(Sorry it took me so long to update, I've had a lot school work to do lately.)

Marinette
    "W-well, h-how do we kn-know your n-not lying?" the tabloid reporter stutters out, her fear seeping into her voice.
    "Question," I start, "Who got you an interview with Ladybug? Miss liar or me?"
"Y-y-you," Alya admits in a defeated manner.
"Who have you actually seen with Jagged Stone?" I ask her.
"You," she responds bowing her head.
"Has Lila actually done anything she promised you?" I question.
"Not yet-" she says before I cut her off.
"How long ago did she promise you some of these things?" I say, my voice deadly calm.
"The newest was today," she proclaimed with confidence.
"The oldest was....." I add letting it drag out.
"About three years ago," Alya uttered.
"Now, I would prefer if you didn't interrupt me when I'm talking to my friends," I say watching as the regret makes it's way into her facial expression.
    Before she could say something, I continue, "No, we aren't friends anymore. You made that very clear when you betrayed me for someone who told you pretty stories instead of the reality you were avoiding."
    I look around the room to see the shocked faces of my classmates and the people who were supposed to be my family and the proud faces of those who declared me family like the present Villains of Gotham, my friends, and my Queen: Chloe. The people who stuck by my side, those who always cared about my feelings and what happened.
Suddenly Aunt Ivy claps her hands gaining everyone's attention and says, "Well even though I hate to cut this short, let's get this tour."
"Okay," Aunt Harley elaborates, "in here is where you can see The people from Justice League, the Young League, the Teen Titans, and the different sidekicks over time."
After a minute the class starts exploring while my aunts come back to talk to me.
"You okay?" Aunt Harley questions.
"Just fine," I say. "All I did was finally tell some people off in a way that gets to them."
"You did amazing!" Aunt Ivy says with a smile adorning her face.
"Thanks, they did deserve it though," I explain.
I guess that some people don't know how to take a hint as soon Mr. Highroad comes up to me.
    "Mari," he starts before I cut him off.
     "Don't call me that. You lost that right years ago," I advised, venom soaking from every word.
    "Marinette," he corrects before continuing with desperation in  his voice, "why did you try to out Lila?! She was just trying to fit in. I thought I told you to take the highroad!"
    "She deserved it," I begin, "She already fits in and doesn't need to lie to make people do her bidding anymore. There's not one reason you could give me to listen to a word your saying either, so good bye."
    I turn to my aunts, friends, and Chloe before saying, "Todays been crazy enough I'm just going to go back to the hotel."
    "Okay," Aunt Harley says.
    "Be safe," Nino says still acting like my older brother while Luka, Alix, and Kagami nod in agreement.
    "I'll come with you," my Queen announced while she looked at me concerned.
    "Okay my love," I say, "Let's go."
