"Hey, Lil' Mayor! You're eating the cookie dough!" four-year-old Nicholas shouted.
"You're supposed to cook it!" Alex, Nicholas's twin brother, added.
Abby Williams swallowed the cookie dough up before admitting, "OK, you two. You caught me. You can help me get rid of the evidence."
The twins exchanged looks of surprise, "Really?"
Abby nodded stiffly.
"Yay!" they shouted.
Abby spooned some dough from the plastic wrapper and soon, the twins gobbled it all up happily.
"That's enough for now," Abby said as she dropped more dough onto the cookie sheet. "Don't want you guys to ruin your dinner."
The night before, she'd promised to bake her cousins cookies to get them into their PJs. It worked out so great that brushed their teeth and jumped into bed and five minutes flat.
Tonight, she was keeping her promise. Lil' Mayor loved making cookies, especially when the dough came ready-made from her Easy-Fake Oven.
She patted the dough into neat little mounds on the sheet and slipped it the oven. She then set the timer for ten minutes.
She then told Nicholas and Alex, "Keep an eye on them please. When the bell goes off, the cookies will be ready."
The twins didn't want to refuse as one of them pulled up a chair up in front of the oven window and climbed up atop it to watch the cookies bake. Abby couldn't help but to chuckle. It was fun having Alex and Nicholas around, especially when she's on vacation.
The Lil' Mayor of Lo'standar decided to stay at a cool resort in the area. There were lots to do there, People sleep in a big fancy hotel or they could rent one of the cute little cabins on the meadow. She's staying in the hotel part with her aids, her best friend, even her dog is here.
The hotel was so fancy that it almost looked like a gothic learning institution of sorts.
Just then, a brown-haired girl walked over to the oven and squeezed in front of the door, startling the two boys.
"Why you two so crazy about these mini-bites?" the girl said. "Working for chocolate chips?"
"CUT!"
The director abruptly turned his camera off and the crew started to wander all over the set. Harriet Jinjur knew they were filming in the Academy for an upcoming episode of Magic Television's newest hit, Lil' Mayor, but she couldn't help but to butt in and see if there's anything real going on in front of the camera.
"I take it that wasn't in the script?"
"Darn it!" Alex screamed at Harriet, sounding more legible than when the camera was rolling. "Now, they're gonna shut off the oven and leave the cookies in there!"
"And they'll taste like they're burned!" Nicholas whined.
"So?" scoffed Harriet. "You had no problem stomaching the dough. I'm sure a little smoke will go past ya."
A crew hand, possibly an intern, then took the twins away from the set before they could screech at her some more.
Then, an older man with residing hair and a bald spot on top approached Harriet. From where she's standing, he seems rather unhappy with her ruining the scene.
"What's the meaning of this?" said Robinson Thorne. "I was told that there would be no students interfering!"
"Calm yourself, Mr. Director," Harriet put a hand in front of her face. "I'm off the books. I only want to see how different this dump looks with all your glitz and glamour."
