Chapter 12

A/n= so, decided I couldn't just leave it where I did, and decided to continue from the ending in chapter 11, because I'm bored and need something to do.

Y/n's pov:
You woke up in a dark room, there was nothing else in there but you, what was going on? Your wrist hurt, there was a patch of burnt skin around it.
"Keigo?" You call out, but there was only silence. You tried to remember how you got here, but the last thing you could remember was arguing with your brother about joining the league. What were you-?

"Y/n! No, don't take her from me, I have to protect her, I have to-"

You stood up, looking around the room you were in. Where was that voice coming from, it seemed so familiar, so-

You fell to your knees as you wept, you were stuck here, alone, and Keigo wasn't here to save you, he promised he'd come find you if anything went wrong...

It had to have been the lov, who else would have kidnapped you? You regretted not reading the file that Keigo had given to you, it seemed so important now.

You shield your eyes as light fills the room. You quickly turn around to find a man in a lab coat staring at you.

"Oh, you're finally awake, interesting" he pulled out a notebook and pen and started scribbling into it. "Ok, tell me, what do you remember? What's your name? What's your quirk?"

"My name is y/n and my quirk is... My quirk is-" you try to remember, but nothing seems to come to mind, something seems to be missing aswell, but you aren't truly sure what.

"Ah, that's right, of course you wouldn't remember, after all you lost your-" He mumbles slightly "remember-"

It slowly becomes harder to focus on his words, everything hurts, you're vision blurs slightly and the room starts spinning.

The lights turn off again, and you are once again alone in the room.

Dabi's pov:

I stared at the wall of the cell I had been put into, arrested for the murder of pro hero Hawks' sister, after being found with her body by Hawks himself, method of murder was unknown, the band had melted away after completing its job. Sentenced to 10 years, Hawks said I deserved more after "ripping away the life of the only thing that mattered to him, his precious little sister", if only they knew the story. Shigiraki had come over to visit, yelled something at me, and said something else about ua being to well guarded to get into. I didn't care, why should I care. He'd offered to help me get out, but I didn't care, I told him to leave, to never come back, I didn't want to see him after what he did.

I looked over at the sad little calender that a guard had put up for me to look at. Today was the day she died, happy death day y/n, I've missed you since that day 9 years ago.

I could spend the next year planning what to do about Hawks as soon as I get out, but why should I? He'll get his karma soon, I'm sure of that.

??? Days later:

Someone came to visit today, a man dressed in a lab coat. I told him to leave, and asked my guard to take me back to my cell, but he stopped me. He had a picture of her, but it looked recent. She was pale, as she had been when I held her, her eyes looked dull and her wings were gone. I was prepared to tear that man to pieces, he was mocking me, mocking her. He asked me to tell him about her, all I did was scoff and walk away, why would I want to talk with a man who was dishonouring the dead.

??? Pov:
9 years, it took me 9 years. I stared at the beauty I had created, it was perfect. All the late nights and changes in blueprint had paid off. I couldn't believe it was finally operational, and working perfectly aswell. I had to tell someone, so I went to the one man who I knew would be thrilled with the news, or so I thought. He yelled at me and walked away, thinking I was mad or something. I'll show him, I'll show them all, just need to fix any bugs first.
