Chapter 13

Y/n's pov:

You're vision seemed off, it didn't look like you remembered, everything seemed slightly dull, and nothing felt right anymore. You pinched yourself to check you were still real, it hurt more than you thought it would.

"Power down" You heard a voice yell, and instantly lost consciousness.

Dabi's pov:

I get let out in two days, that guy in a lab coat won't stop visiting me, he insists I go to his lab after I get out of here, but I have other plans. First place I'm going once I'm out of here is the graveyard, got to make sure all the flowers are fresh since I doubt Hawks has.

Y/n's pov:

Red lights flashed, alarms were sounding. What was going on? You steadily got to your feet and headed towards the wall, there was a slight outline revealing where the door was, and it opened. You stepped out, looking down the long hall. Men in lab coats ran past you, all running from something. You ran the opposite way, wanting to see what it was. Was it Keigo? Had he finally come for you?

"Keigo!" you yelled, hoping it would help him to find you.

You were instantly tackled and held to the ground, you couldn't see who it was. They picked you up of the ground and held you against a wall, trying to put some form of handcuff on you. You quickly pulled your hand away, the burn around you're wrist still not properly healed, and then hit the person in the face, causing them to stumble backwards. You turn to find...

"Keigo! You finally came! I knew you wouldn't leave me here-" you try to hug him but he pushes you away.

"Who are you and why are you impersonating my sister?" He asks coldly.

"K-Keigo, it's me, it's Y/n-"

"Don't you dare say her name!" He screams, sending his fist towards you. The man in the lab coat who would normally visit you stopped him.

"Hello Mr Hawks sir, I see you've already met one of our... Creations"

"What do you mean by creations? Why does it look like my sister?"

"Sorry, we sort of used her as a template for the cyborg, many of her pieces were still usable, and she still has most of her memory in tact."

Keigo's pov:
He seems to be telling the truth, but she clearly doesn't remember everything, otherwise she wouldn't be so trusting of you... This could work.
"Ok, I'll let you continue your work if you let me take my sister home"

"Yes, that's fine, we've moved onto other creations now anyway"

Y/n's pov:

You don't know what they were just talking about, you're ears wouldn't stop ringing once the man came over and you couldn't hear any of it.

"Keigo?" I asked, wondering why he had been trying to hit me.

"Come on y/n, we're going home. You've been gone for a while, almost ten years to be exact, I thought I'd never find you."

"Oh..."

Dabi's pov:

I stared at the guard in front of me, shocked at what he'd just said.

"Could you repeat that, I think I misheard."

"You're being let out a few days early as you are no longer guilty of murder, the one you murdered is alive and well, so you're free."

"That's bull**** and you know it! She's dead, D-E-A-D, DEAD! I held her in my arms as her body went cold, I know she's dead!"

"Well, she isn't. " The guard said, unlocking my cell. "You're officially free to go Dabi."

I had to find Hawks... NOW.
