Ray looked up to see Nosini and Manisha. He went over to hug them. He was so glad nothing had happened to them and they were alright "You guys are back! and you're okay, I'm so glad!"
"Of course we would never leave you here, we came to save you!" Noshini smiled and Manisha just nodded "Thank you guys for saving me then" Ray laughed a bit.
"You shouldn't be that thankful to us Cedric helped us but he was too scared to come here because he thought you'd be mad" Manisha looked at Ray that was now a bit stunned
"Well he wasn't wrong of course I'd be mad at him but it's fine I don't know what he's thinking nor should i have assumed we were friends." Nohini nodded and they had to run out of the place since some guards had seen an opened front door.
"God i haven't ran like that in ages" Manisha and Ray were both out of breath Noshini was still slowing down so they could catch up
"So what are we doing now?". Noshini shrugged and Manisha started talking " Well to start off you do need a live stone to get back!". "True that would be needed".
"Well you should aso talk to Cedric. We promised you'd listen to what he has to say." Ray looked up at Noshini and Manisha. He nodded to them and they left to call Cedric to meet him
Ray was rethinking his decision, he didn't feel like talking to Cedric. "Hey Ray.. I just wanted to say I'm very sorry I never meant for that to happen" Ray turned around to see Cedrics face "So what did you want to happen you said those weren't the terms you agreed to?"
"Well before I agreed to all of them I hadn't met you and the other people on the camp I just wanted to go back home they promised if I helped them they'd send you all back to the palace and I'd get a live stone. I didn't know they wanted to put you guys in timeout.". Ray didn't really know what to think of it.
"And what now? What even is that timeout thing? Why did Noshini and Manisha change into those people who live in Yosei? Why did you even come back? You could of just gotten your live stone."
"Noshini and Manisha turned because now they are a part of the Yosei people, something called stoppers. They can't go back to reality anymore, and for me I didn't want you guys to think i'm a bad person i was just trying to help myself home and well they ended up throwing me out so i didn't even get a live stone."
Ray felt a bit surprised and bad that Noshini and Manisha couldn't come back. That meant his best friends would stay behind but he did miss his dad. "Cedric, what are we going to do now?"
Cedric was quiet for just a bit but then asked Ray a question "Well it's actually quite easy do you want to go see your mom or do you want to go get yourself a live stone? Because we sure don't have time for both."
"...I guess I want to see my mom, you coming with us?" Cedric nodded and they went to search for Manisha and Noshini. They found the two of them sitting down on a bit of grass. Noshini had somehow caught the cat that followed them around from the house they saw.
"Hey guys, let's go find my mom okay?"
"LETS GO!!" Noshini jumped up and let the cat run away again. They started making their way to where the so called stoppers lived. Turns out most stoppers lived in colony-like places where they put people who had spent the same amount of time in Yosei together into little camps.
"Sooo you guys are never coming back to reality?" Ray looked at Noshini and Manisha who were walking beside him. "Seems like it, I'll miss the place for sure!" Manisha smiled but it was normal to miss a place you've grown up in.
