Canada and Greenland walked off the boat, joking with each other, somewhat passive aggressively. They stopped their conversation when Arctic ran up to them. The country was far taller Greenland, but just a bit shorter than Canada. Canada quickly grabbed the "tiny" nation and locked him into a hug, while an even shorter Norway cane running up, holding a duffel bag and sprinting across the ice. "Don't leave me to carry your stuff!" She grumbled, dragging Greenland back to the bag she dropped to help her out.

Canada let go of Arctic and offered to help carry anything else, coming back with a small pearl-white sack, tied together with 2 elegant strings, each with small Pom-Pom's at their ends. Arctic then led the trio to a small pond. Deep green reeds decorated the edges, with small frost gnawing at their base. Brown rotting flowers hung gloomily around them. Small rocks, pebbles and gravel was scattered around the lakes edge, and finally cheery snowmen were posed to act out all sorts of scenes.

After settling between two large rocks, and lighting a fire, the nations strapped on their skates and began skating.
Greenland and Norway were great skaters but hadn't skated in a while so it took them a good 5 seconds to get used to everything again.
Canada and Arctic helped them both get on their feet, and once everyone was ready they just skated. Norway was mainly doing laps around the lake with Canada, while Arctic and Greenland spent their time trying to trip each other up.
At one point, Norway had veered off her path and tackled the duo, leaving Canada to rush over and help them all up; after he had stopped laughing, of course.
When they had all picked themselves up of the ice, Norway went over to the duffel bag and the white sack, pulling out a worn out puck and 4 hockey sticks. Each stick had a flag on it, for each of the countries.
Skating back over, she handed the sticks to everyone. "You'll have to thank Finland, they made them just for this occasion" Canada said.
Arctic found 4 large rocks and placed 2 at either side of the lake, marking out goals.
Norway finally put the puck in the centre of a circle, which Canada has carved it using a stick, marking the halfway line.

So the groups finished their game of ice hockey, with Canada and Arctic winning 13-5.
Canada then did one more lap of the lake, while the others sat down and took off their skates.  Canada soon came rushing back over, slightly panicked. "Sorry guys could you come over here for a sec?"
"All of us?" responded Greenland
"Yeah, I found something."
The group got up and walked around the lake while Canada skirted across. He stopped by a hole in the ice, half hidden by reeds and pebbles. The water inside the hole was perfectly clear, but despite being at the edge of the lake was not shallow. At all. The hole showed that the lake went down into the earthy for what looked like miles, what actually was miles. The water was clear enough so you could see this bright glow from the bottom, and small ripples would appear on the surface of the water. Lying next to the hole, half buried underneath a rock, was a small golden twig.
Arctic picked the twig up and stared at it, before dipping it into the hole. The twig evaporated and a blue dust settled over the hole, blocking everyone's view.
Greenland looked over at Arctic, not mad but confused. "What did you do that for?" He asked.
Arctic shrugged, disappointed.

Then there was a cracking noise. Greenland and Arctic quickly got themselves off the Ice, and Canada began to skate off. Since Canada was somewhat blocked by the 2 countries next to him he couldn't go left or right to get away from the hole, so he turned around and began to skate around the 2 fleeing nations. He managed to fall into the rocks next to Norway, who turned to look at the lake.
Turning around one could see that under the ice was an entire Galaxy of blue dust, and in bits where it parted, a brilliant orange light shone from below.
But what was shocking was on the other side of the lake the water was moving, something was coming out of the water. Someone had come out from a lake that lead to the middle of the earth.
