Entry 3: You Are...
You don't need the material things,
Don't let the makeup,
All those magazines,
To define what you be.
Because you are beautiful,
You are smart,
You are perfect,
Just the way you are.

I'm going to be honest and say that I'm losing faith in humanity. You know why? Because of the deception of seeing, the lack of education of people today, and the fact that people have absolutely no common sense these days.
Now you probably read the poem and are thinking "what in the world does education and deception have to do with girls knowing how beautiful they are?"
Easy.
Seeing is really deceiving, especially with the new image technology of today. I actually doubt everything I see in magazines, because all of it looks too good to be true. I'm going to be honest and say that it is too good to be true. It's all a lie.
The people who make these photos want you to buy their things. That's why they have the motive to make everything look amazing, so you will want to buy it. But when you really try it, it's nothing great. Those people just want your money. They want you to feel bad so you would have the urge to "make yourself beautiful".
Girls, you're all damn beautiful.
Got flaws? Got scars?
That's okay, because any REAL person would have them.
Only fake people who want your money want you to believe that you have to be "beautiful" to get anywhere in life. But being beautiful won't.
Consider this: you're beautiful, but you don't even know how to add and subtract. How could you do any of life's simple, everyday things?
The answer is, you can't. No one will be there to do everything for you. You have to be proactive. There are a ton of girls in my classes that are THROWING away their education and worshipping the material things.
Horrible, absolutely horrible. They may look cool now, but they will regret everything when they're older and lose their looks. And they are uneducated, so they're screwed over.
Would you be beautiful and go to hell? Or would you be normal and lead a good life?
Never ever stop for anyone. NO ONE, and I mean no one, should take away your will to believe in yourself. So what, I'm no prize. I don't look like some blonde supermodel, with the perfect skin complexion and face.
Whatever. I look different, but that makes me UNIQUE. That makes me DIFFERENT. That makes me STAND OUT.
And if some witch wants to give me crap for it, I don't care. I'd rather be "ugly" and be a good person, than someone who looks beautiful, but does nothing but bad.
If someone gives you hate and makes your life tough, don't cry about it. The only reason why they picked on you is to see whether you are tough or not. Retaliate. Prove them W R O N G.
Someone spreads rumors about you? Ignore them. They aren't true, so why should you get upset? If you get upset, it shows that maybe you are guilty of whatever they accuse you of, and will continue to hurt you. Show them that it really doesn't matter.
Earlier today, I offered some words of advice to my good friend @chronicsolitude. Please, believe me when I say:
Their hate will make you s t r o n g e r.
Their hate will make you s m a r t e r.
Their hate will make you a f i g h t e r.
If you learn to be t o u g h e r now, then you will be u n b r e a k a b l e in the future.
Be strong. And I know, sometimes it still hurts and stings, even though you know it shouldn't. I know, I'm strong, but still, I take hits to my self-esteem as well. But I'll cope. I'll keep going on. Life never stopped for me, so why should I give up on life?
You should never feel like there isn't a place for you in this world. You were born and are still alive for a reason.
If you ever need someone to talk to, please, come to me.
