Chapter Text Oswald stomps towards dell. Alright! asshole! Today's the day your going start treating me respect—
I know. Dell sighs. I deeply apologize for everything I've said. I just stand to see my little girl grow up fast and leaving home.
Well I wouldn't know about that.. Oswald frowns. Seeing how I missed out on almost 15 years of Luz's life and didn't meet her until a few weeks ago.
Yup the feeling of her tiny hand squeezing his finger. The sight of her taking her first steps. The sound of her saying her first word. All little things that had a powerful effect on a parent.
Each something he never got to know and continued to apologize for it every morning at breakfast.
Seeing luz off on her first day of school, Teaching her how to steal and ride a bike and how to swim using a fake shark fin to scare kids, taking her to the beach to roast marshmallows , to an amusement park or out at a nice restaurant for the weekend.
If only me and Gwendolyn treated you better...maybe things would have been different. Dell sighs.
Well the past can't be changed. Oswald frowns.
I know...
Snowy hoots flying down from the bedroom window and landed on dell's other shoulder. Which is why I've asked snowy to keep an eye on you..to make sure my daughter chose right.
I figured she was spy. Oswald replies petting red flare . There was no way a bird palismen would chose a non blooded clawthorne.
Well your blessed to have a dragon palismen...I thought they disappeared from our world? Dell wonders.
No mom said she managed to save three before my dad died.
The silence breaks as Dell spoke again.
"I never gotten to thank you for taking care of my daughter." Dell smiles.
And I never asked for the blessings to date and marry your daughter. Oswald laughs.
Well then you have my blessing to renew your vows.

Any sport in a storm theory. Hunter either ran away from belos or he's trying to spy on luz...which is weird because luz and amity know what he looks like
