Unfamiliar Place (Oneshot)

"No!! Yuu What are you doing ?!" Mika tightened his grip on Yuu's wrist to stop him from going.

"Look! Our friends are in trouble Mika!! We have to save them!!" Yuu shook off his hand from Mika's. Mika had no choice but to follow Yuu to save his friends from Shikama's attacks, or what they called 'The First' .

"Come on everyone!" Guren shouts to his squad to fight for the battle.

Two hours had passed

Everything is quiet, there's no sound of gun fire, shouting or of anything they heard earlier.

"Yuu-chan?..." Mika tries to find him but doesn't get a response.

"Hey Yuu-chan it's not funny..." Still no response.

Mika finds a familiar figure that catches his attention, "That can't be him..." while he slowly approaches the body that's laying down in his direction. It has raven hair, the figure of the body and the uniform are the same as Yuu's.

Mika started to panic, his legs became weaker and his heart was beating really fast.

It's Yuu. Mika's childhood friend, his one and only family he had left, the one he loves the most and the one who he always promised to protect him whatever happened...

is laying there without a single heartbeat.

Mika hugs Yuu close to his chest and cries his heart out until there's no more tears to fall.

Many hours had passed. Mika is still hugging Yuu and his eyes are redder than a vampire's that caused from crying earlier. He refuses to leave Yuu by his side, he's scared to be alone again.

A devilish sound was heard and it made Mika turn to the sound, "Mikaela, your yuu died just like that." Mika's thoughts are full of hate and vengeance. He's ready to fight but then he lowers his sword when Shikama speaks, "There's a way to save your Yuu-chan again but it seems like you're too eager to kill me, Mikaela."

Mika is smart and he knows what Shikama is planning but he's still hesitant to attack. If he let's Shikama live, he will get to see Yuu again but if he kills him now, this day might be where all his memories from today will haunt him forever.

"How?" Mika speaks.

"Don't worry darling, I will just have to put you into a deep sleep"

"You think I'm stupid enough to trust you?"

"You will Mikaela. Everything for your precious Yuu isn't?" A smirk appears on his face.

Mika had no other choice but to trust him, he knows that Shikama is a bad news but also the only way to make Yuu come back to his side again.

And that was it. Mika had accepted him and got himself into a deep sleep.

Mika wakes up in an unfamiliar place, he finds himself in a bedroom.

"Why am I here? What happened ?" He thought

Then he heard footsteps as well as a door opening, there stood his most beloved Yuu now running to his direction with a worried look on his face.

"Mika? Mika? hey? are u okay ?"

Mika starts breaking down like a mess, he misses Yuu so much. "Why are you crying? Is it a bad dream?" Yuu asked. Mika chuckles as he wipes his tears away.

"It's just that... I've missed you so much Yuu-chan, I'm glad that you're still alive"

"Huh? Why wouldn't I be alive ?" Yuu has a questionable expression on his face.

"It's nothing..."

"Tell me if you feel better, okay? Oh and It's 9 am, we have to get ready"

"For what ?"

"It's Shinoa's birthday, silly. You were so excited to give her your homemade strawberry cake yesterday, can't believe you've forgotten about it just in one night" Yuu chuckles.

"We don't wanna be the last one, because all of our friends are going"

"friends...?"

"Shinoa, Yoichi, Mitsuba, and Kimizuki. Ring a bell?" Yuu teased.

"Oh..oh right haha" Mika replied nervously .

"I made us breakfast, go get shower and eat together, okay?" after that Yuu left the room.

Mika has so much questions on his head about the Shinoa's squad, wasn't Shikama just planning to save Yuu back then but why are all of them still alive??

Mika doesn't want to think any of it anymore since Yuu is here, he's grateful and happy.

Mika was wearing thin clothes that caught Yuu's attention. He sighed. "Mika, it's cold outside you're gonna catch a cold if you wear like that"

Mika laughs nervously. "I uh...can we just go already? I'm so excited Yuu-chan, let's go!" Mika pushes Yuu from behind to get them going. The truth is, Mika didn't know what to wear since he never had a memory of Yuu and him living in the same apartment, or worse living like this in a peaceful world, where vampires, demons and JIDA don't even exist.

And the best thing is, Mika is a human.

They arrived at the given location right on time. Mitsuba was the first one to arrive.

"Ah look who's here" Shinoa waves at them.

"Happy birthday Shinoa" Mika said as he handed her his homemade strawberry cake. Although Mika always felt suspicious about them before, he couldn't help but wish Shinoa since this is not the previous world where he was before.

"Thank you Mikaela-san"

After that, Kimizuki and Yoichi arrived. They're all having fun and telling jokes, Mika couldn't help but enjoy every second of it because this is what he wanted the most. He tells himself that all those vampires and demons are just bad dreams he had last night.

'Home'

As long as he remembers, he never felt such feelings like this in a long time, all he remembers was pain and miserable. "Last night, the dream felt so real." Mika thought, but he shrugged it off because now he's grateful for all that has happened today, Shinoa's squad is here and Yuu's here, everyone's alive. That's all he could ask for.

"It's getting late for us, so we'll need to go back first." Yuu said as he stood up from his seat while holding Mika's hand. "See you guys next time!" The two soon walked out together from the party.

Yuu decides to question "Hey Mika, are you okay? you've been acting weird since this morning, is there anything you wanna talk about?"

"Huh? Um-" Mika felt something soft on his lips, it was Yuu's lips. The kiss was passionate, Mika knew that he was craving over this for a long time ago, and here it is with the one he loves the most. Mika broke the kiss, "Yuu?! you kissed me?"

"Why? Can't I kiss my boyfriend?"

"Boyfriend? You mean us? Being together? haha you know what I meant..."

"Okay now you're acting really weird Mika."

Yuu drags Mika to a seat for him to sit down and cups both of his cheeks so that he turns Mika's head to face him. "Now, what's wrong Mika? Tell me please? We will figure it out together okay?" Mika hesitates to speak up but looking at Yuu's expression it's really hard not to tell. "Yuu-chan, I had a bad dream last night and you died in it...it felt so real. I tried to save you but I couldn't... I'm so sorry" Mika started to cry. Yuu pulled him closer and gave him a warm hug "Shh shh it's okay Mika, it's just a bad dream, I'm still with you here aren't I?" Yuu broke the hug and cups back at Mika's cheeks, "I'll stay with you always, okay? I love you so much."

Hearing the last line made Mika blush, he feels so happy and content.
