"My name is Y/n. I thought you should know."

And just like that she was out the door and disappearing in the streets of Gotham. Jason threw away his trash and followed in suit. The crisp air of the city hit his face before he pulled his helmet over it.

Caliber had made a valid point. Gotham City was a shitty place full of terrible people and smoggy air. The weather was always cold and the skies were always gray. The city reeked of murder and drugs.

Yet even in this terrible place something called out to the pedestrians. Gotham City was magnetizing. There was something dark and mysterious that was dragging people into the hell. There was something that you couldn't ignore no matter how hard you tried.

Gotham City was a terrible place indeed, but for some reason no one wanted to leave.

A/n:

N/n is your nickname, if you don't have one just use the first letter of your name so it makes a bit more sense. For example; My name is Abby, and my Nickname is Abbs, sometimes my friend's call me A. If your name is Janet (I don't think I know anyone who's name is Janet but I couldn't think of any other names) your nickname could be J.

~~~~Y/n PoV~~~~
Y/n didn't see The Red Hood for weeks. He seemed to just disappear from Gotham entirely. There was no sign of him on the news or in the Gazette and there certainly was no remnant of his actions on the streets.
Red Hood didn't seem like the type of guy to disappear from a city that needed help. He came off as a chill, down-to-earth, sort of person; If you set aside the anti-hero narcissist. From what Y/n could tell, he was a good person. She could also tell that he didn't believe he was.
He was very upfront with telling her what she could work on and answered her questions simply. He wasn't judgmental, even if at first it seemed he was. Hood was also a good marksman and solid in hand-to-hand combat from the videos she had seen of him fighting. In all honesty, he would be a good ally.
Not that Y/n cared or anything, he was just a guy that happened to work the same "job" as she did. Just one of many vigilantes in Gotham. Sure, he may have been more well known than many and he worked with Batman (though he denied it the moment she had brought it up) he was just another guy. Why would she care?
She wasn't quite sure if she was trying to convince the woman sitting across from her or herself.
"I still can't believe that you literally came in contact with the Red Hood."
Leslie Parks. Better known as Lee and Y/n's best friend for a year now. Lee was the first and only person that knew about Y/n being a vigilante (Red Hood didn't count because he knew nothing about her personal life other than her first name). Lee drove Y/n up the wall with her crazy theories about the Joker and other criminals of Gotham but Y/n wasn't going to stop her, Lee was studying to become a therapist and by the looks of it, she was going to be a damn good one. Y/n didn't know of a social problem that Lee couldn't solve.
"I'm still pissed that you didn't tell me until now. This happened three weeks ago, Y/n. You know I'm crazy about this stuff!" Lee whined, waving her arms to prove her point. Her voice came out as a harsh whisper due to the requirements of the campus library.
"I know exactly what you're crazy about and that's why I didn't tell you," Y/n sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose. Lee mocked an offended gasp.
"Gotham is a shitty place, I don't need you dragged into the worst part of it."
