Ivy stood in front of the Mikaelson Compound, waiting for her brother to reach. Alec had called her about half an hour ago, telling her they had entered New Orleans. It was still an early hour of the day, hence why not a lot of people were on the streets. It was relatively quite which gave the brunette a chance to collect her thoughts and think about what she was going to say when she came face to face with Jace.

"Magnus has everything set up inside. We're waiting on you." Rebekah's voice startled Ivy who turned around, on guard "Chill mamma bear." The blonde whistled. "Sorry."

Rebekah came and stood beside Ivy, placing her hands on her shoulder "A blood bag for your thought?"

"That's not what the saying is."

"You're a vampire. Blood will do more good than a penny." True.

Ivy smiled slightly at the blonde before turning back and staring at the street "I don't know what I'm feeling. I'm scared, happy and sad all in one. I don't know what to expect. I don't know what to do, how to act. It's all a blur and it's going too fast all of a sudden. I'm scared of what will happen to Hope. Will she be okay after all this? Will she remember me when she's like fifteen or twenty? I'll be dead."

Rebekah was silent for a few minutes. The blonde didn't necessarily know how to answer. She had dealt with a lot in a thousand years but a mother's concerns were something new to her. "I don't think we can predict our future honestly." Rebekah admitted before continuing "If there's one thing I've learned over the thousand years, it's that you just need to do what you need to. Cuz if you don't, later you will regret it. "

That probably wasn't helpful, Rebekah thought.

The duo stood in silence for a few minutes before a Range Rover approached them. But something was unusual. It was coming at a fast pace, a speed that one didn't drive at when they planned on stopping five feet away. Ivy observed the situation for a few minutes and when the car didn't slow down, she pushed Rebekah out of the way and jumped out herself.
