Years ago, there was two legendary beasts, the phoenix and the dragon. Their masters are Xiao Xingchen and Xue Changmei.
The dragon known as Lan Wangji was Xue Changmei's beast. While the phoenix known as Wei Wuxian was Xiao Xingchen's.
The two beasts fell in love as their masters also fell in love. A tragedy happened between the two great men and beasts. The dragon was heavily injured and his life is hanging on a thread, Xue Changmei was also badly injured. He then knew that Xiao Xingchen made him forget his memories, he ran off and never came back, he burned down a whole forest with fire only then did he realize that his fire is purer and stronger. Water and qi couldn't put it off at all
He cried the whole month making the earth tremble and the skies rumble and died peacefully. Xue Changmei also regained his memories and looked for his dragon to apologize but the news he received was his death.
"That's what happened years ago, now you both are reborn, but sadly the power of phoenix and dragon are both in Lan Wangji, while you..." He was looking at Wei Ying.
"What? Xue Changmei, just say it" Wei Ying replied.
"You have another type of power and this power will bring destruction if it is not trained well. You might even kill those around you." That was what Xue Yang said but he continued his words. "I will revive my dragon, but the price is forgetting the most important person in his life. Are you willing?"
Wei Ying sighed and said, "I do" He tried hard to suppress the feeling i side him but Xingchen showed up again.
"He can't bear it! If he forgets they'll suffer again!" That was what Xingchen said.
Xue Yang replied, "But..."
I cut them off, "I would be willing to do everything if it means he can live as a normal person like me. As for the price... I'm willing to suffer from it alone."
Xingchen, "A'Xian... My A'Xian always gets hurt. A'Yang..."

But what Yin Chen was shocked about wasn't that but the Lan Zhan who was there standing quietly waiting for someone to notice him while adapting to his memories. "L-Lan Zhan?"
Wei Ying shook his head as the both left the room. Wei Ying and Lan Zhan were alone. Wei Ying gathered all his strength and stood up with every step he felt his heart pricked by a needle. He already expected that he would forget him, but he wished that Lan Zhan will remember him. "Lan Zhan..."
Lan Zhan looked at Wei Ying and said, "Please call me Wangji." He was like when they met 10 years ago. Cold and formal.
Wei Ying's heart shattered to pieces as he coughed out blood and passed out. His last memory was Lan Zhan calling out to him.
When he woke up, he saw Lan Zhan taking care of him, the room he was in was their room, the old room and same people inside but hearts had changed...
He sat up as Lan Zhan was trying to leave, "Can I ask you a question?"

"NO" He said, and that's when Wei Ying stood up and hugged him from behind.
He wasn't crying but his voice was broken, "Listen to me play a song, and I will willingly let you go."
Lan Zhan nodded and sat down, Wei Ying picked up his sword which turned into a flute. He played a tune that was left by Xue Changmei. WangXian..
When the song ended, Wei Ying showed Lan Zhan the exit and said, "Forgive me for not sending you off. Lan Wangji"
He bowed politely and left, that's when Zhan finally broke down in tears. Yin Chen and Qi Ling went to him and pat his back. After all the two souls Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji brought them back to each other.
The house was quiet and empty. 3 people inside but seems like dead. Wei Ying who was once the most noisy one is now bedridden, not because he is sick but he is heartbroken. Qi Ling and Yin Chen can't do anything about it. Wei Qiutian was also taken back to the Imperial Palace.
At the same time Ji Chuan and Zhao Qingfeng received a guest. A very very special guest, Yan Dafu. He is Ji Chuan's adoptive brother.
