Spill the tea (or dream?)

You and Chase make your way outside to the terrace. He is gently touching your waist and making sure you can breathe. You take a deep breath and close your eyes. He steps away a bit. "That's it. Deep breaths, you're okay" Chase nods, looking lovingly at you. You start to slowly open your eyes. "Are you okay, y/n?" He asks, stepping closer to you. "Yeah" you laugh, since you answered him already. "It just went down the wrong pipe" you nod. He doesn't laugh. "No, like, is everything ok?" You both look at each other. "I mean you came down exhausted, you got Kaz and my name mixed up by saying "Kiss and Chaz," and when Bree brought up a kiss scene in a romantic ghost movie, you choked" he tilts his head. "Something's up" he finishes. You smile a bit as if to say he's right with a little giggle. "Yeah," you nod. "Everything's ok" you trail off, not knowing whether to spill what happened or keep it inside. You think for a sec, your eyes shut and your stomach starting to flip. "I just. I had a weird dream" you shake your head, looking away from him. "Like a nightmare?" He steps a bit closer. "No" you smile. "That's the thing. It started out that way, and then it became like this romantic movie" you say. "What happened?" He keeps stepping closer to you. Instead of resisting, you just let him. Please hug me from behind, you beg him in your head. Or stay away. You don't know what you want at this point. "I had like flashbacks from yesterday. When Reese blasted me, when you didn't believe me, when Rodissius revealed that he's her father, when I ran back home... and that's when things changed." He nods. "I came back to the penthouse and it was day time. Really weird. And I went out to, where we are right now" you gesture around you and he nods again, "and suddenly, you appeared, still in your mission suit?" You mumble, confused. "You came here to apologize again and I was way less fearful in the dream. I wasn't afraid to be mean to you. I was... just different. I asked you why did it. Why you brought her home. Why you trusted her, just why" you explain. "Please tell me I was nice to you" Chase giggles a bit. "You definitely were" your stomach flips. "You kept telling me, "I don't know why I did this, why I did that, but I know one thing" and as you're telling Chase what he did in your dream, his eyebrows go up in anticipation. "And you ended it by saying, "I know one thing, though." Stomach, stop flipping. "What is the one thing I know?" He leaned into you. Don't tell him what he said to you. What if it's true in real life? Calm down, Y/n. "You said you loved me" you mumbled as fast as you could under your breath. "What?" he asks. "You said you loved me?" You shrugged nervously, and still mumbling. "Y/n, it's okay. You don't have to be scared" he touches your shoulder. You squeeze your eyes shut one last time. "You said you loved me, Chase" you muttered quietly, but loud enough for him to hear. "And then you leaned in and we almost... kissed" you look up at him with pouty eyes but not intentionally. It's just because he's taller than you and you're scared. He smiles. "What?" You ask, a little scared. He goes in to hug you and you hug him back. "That explains it" he giggles. Your breathing gets heavy. "It's okay" he almost whispers, letting you know you can hug him and that you're safe. So you give in. You go in for the hug, similar to the one you had this morning, except he rubs your back this time. You take a deep breath and realize you are safe. You're in his arms. He knows what happened. He smiles. Your brain is running a mile a minute and you're trying to think of what to do. Y/n, ask him. Do it now. He likes you. You know he likes you. It's the perfect time. Ok, no, you're getting too excited. Just because he's hugging you and you're close friends doesn't mean he likes you. Shut up and let him hug you. While you two are hugging, Dylan gets up from the table and gasps. "Guys" she keeps her eyes locked on both of you and gestures for some of the team to come to where she is. "Yeah, Dylan?" Skylar asks, rising up. "Look!" she cries, almost jumping. Everyone sees you and Chase holding each other and starts pouting. "You guys think she's still mad at him?" Zoey jokes. "Maybe she had a really good dream" Kaz laughs. Bree looks at her little brother and you hugging and smiles like a proud parent. "They're going to date soon" she smiles and nods.
