Flashback to the younger versions. (Tommy is 10 and Wilbur is 13)

"Will..?" Tommy said as poked his head into Wilburs room.

Wilbur was sitting on his bed using his phone. Probably texting his boyfriend. He looked up from the phone and set it down when he saw his little brother. "What's up Toms?"

"I can't sleep.." Tommy walked his way over to Wilburs bed and sat down in between his legs.

Wilbur wasn't able to sleep either. His parents could easily be heard yelling from their room. And unfortunately Tommy's room was right next to theirs.

Wilbur wrapped his arms around Tommys waist. "Is this okay?"

Tommy nodded. "When is Big Q gonna come over?"

"When Mom and Dad accept him into the family." Wilbur sighed. His parents were very strict about people coming over and who the boys dated.

"Are they homophobic?" Tommy asked.

"I.. I don't know. Maybe they have trust issues." Tommy laughed at that.

They both fell silent. It wasn't that awkward silence though, it was more like a comforting silence.

"WILBUR!" Phil yelled out.

Wilbur sighed knowing what his father wanted. "I'll be back."

Tommy moved out of the way and let Wilbur leave the room. He walked through the hall and found his way into his parents room. "Yes?"

"You're leaving. Go pack your things."

Wilbur nodded knowing he'll be back soon. This always happens. He would always end up coming back though because the city depended on the family.

Wilbur left the room and went back to his own. He saw Tommy still sitting on his bed. "Sorry Toms but I have to go for a bit."

"Oh.. You'll be back soon, right?" Tommy's voice was quavering. He sounded like he was on the verge of breaking down.

"Of course I will. Call me if anything goes wrong or if you just want to talk." Wilbur patted Tommys head with a smile. He then went into his closet and grabbed his suitcase which was already filled with stuff for when this happened.

Tommy nodded slowly and watched Wilbur leave the room quickly. A tear fell down his cheek along with a small sniffle.

He just wanted to spend time with his brother. Something always goes wrong.
