It was a depressingly rainy Sunday morning as the young 19 year old Lieutenant General watched as Rosé's bus took off on the muddy roads of Bangkok. Lisa adjusts her cap and proceeds to her office, ignoring P'nam, her assistant's offer of hot coffee. Rosé had only stayed for a day, accompanying her to her daily rounds on the field after their rendezvous inside her private quarters. She exhales heavily as she sunk her back into her office chair, the blonde princess was only with her for a day but had already affected her so much.

"Engaged to be married..." she mutters under her breath, Lisa clasps her hands together and lets them rest on her stomach unable to calm her chaotic thoughts. She notices the lone earring on her desk, the one on top of a picture frame of her friends, them as children taken so long ago. Jennie, Bambam and Jisoo looked at the camera with wide smiles on their faces, but Rosé, though grinning, was looking at her.

Roséanne Park. They had just made love (teenagers usually do) and now it was marriage, she wasn't even sure about her feelings about her friend and yet, her parents and Kaiserin Alice unnie had decided their love for them. She just wished she had a say in it before it was decided.

But then again, this wasn't just about love. She hates to admit it but this was of political importance. This may be the first time the North has ever arranged a marriage to an outsider. Not since, DongFang's stolen princess... Her step father may have had a hand in this, having Nordhun's army and DongFang's wealth would make Middlend the strongest empire among the five. This wasn't her choice but she did have a duty to her country.

But is marriage with Rosé so undesirable? No. Lisa would be lucky enough to even be loved by such a sweet woman. "My future seems to be so much more hopeful than my past. To the Gods who are listening, forgive me for delaying my gratitude. I'll try my best to be a worthy wife for her..."

A low purring sound interrupted her train of thought and soon after a large caracal feline hopped up her desk. Lisa involuntarily smiles, petting the wild cat as it climbs onto her lap.

"Hey there, Leo. I forgot you were here... Did P'nam already feed you?" she asks her feline friend, fully knowing that her wild cat can't answer back but instead it gave her a pointed look as if he knew what she had been thinking about. "Don't look at me like that. I know that I'm a princess and I have a duty to my country. Hell, I'm serving on the Militrikes!" Lisa grouches holding him up.

"Rosé has always been my friend, Leo. I don't have anyone I have feelings for so- I mean, Rosé is pretty, nice and so well mannered. She's kind to me, she was like a sister to me, Leo. But that must have changed now right?" Lisa sighs, she didn't want to say it out loud. But it was there, it was an undeniable truth. She was attracted to her, she had sex with her best friend and they can't go back on it now...

"I'll be a good wife to her, Leo. It would be for the good for us and the North, if Bambam marries Jennie unnie from Dongfang then our marriages will bring the two countries over as allies and family... They already are my family."

Lisa stands up, letting the caracal wander around her office as she looks out from her window. It seems like the weather suited her mood today, it was raining but the sun was out. "For the good of Middlend, I'll marry her, Leo." She pauses and thinks about their passionate morning together. "and She might be good for me too."

"You said that this woman, your wife, claims to bear your child? But you saw her sleeping with another man?"

Kunpimook Bhuwakul Manoban says as he talks with his two fuming subjects from his father's gold coated throne beside his mother, Chitthip. His father had once again been absent for his royal duties as Agila of Middlend, his mother worries about his sire's health, Bambam knows that this was no laughing matter. The country was getting restless with the spreading rumours of their King getting sick and weak. His father's absence only adds to the suspicion.
