_______________________________The wedding was held on a Sunday, which also happens to be a two days from Lisa's birthday. Much to her delight since Lisa was never one to celebrate for her own birthdays. Everyone agreed for a small modest occasion due to the grim Middlend current events. But of course, the Duke and Duchess suggested having a few press crew and journalists to take pictures for the newspaper. The Middes needed something to focus on other than the war, Chitthip agreed that having a royal wedding would alleviate the unrest among the Middlend people.
But having the wedding earlier had only added strain between Jennie and Bambam. They have lived together in the palace for 4 months albeit with the company of Rosé (who refused to return North despite multiple letters and attempts from Alice). Jennie and Bambam slowly accepted the fact of their engagement and started having afternoon lunch dates together.
They were still good friends but the romance just wasn't there. It will come someday, Jennie assures herself after every awkward half kiss they shared.
It seems as though her time was up, four months had passed by like a breeze and she was hours away from walking down the aisle and up the Middlend throne. After today, she would be crowned Middlend royalty. The first Taito Laluna ever to rule beside a Middlend monarch. She would be marrying a kind, loving and sweet man, but why does she feel like she's marrying her dongsaeng?
It almost makes her stomach curl uneasily at the lewd images that went through her brain at the thought.
Her cousin pinches her cheeks when she notices the growing pout on her face. Jisoo gives her a scolding look, and without speaking a single word made her understand what she was trying to say. It's alright Jendeuk, It will like be a fairytale you'll see. Take that sour look off your beautiful face, it ruins the makeup.
"You ready, princess?" Rosie said, barging right into her and Jisoo's silent telepathy. The Norden princess was wearing a rosy pink and grey bridal maiden dress, delicate fur lining decorating the seams below her ribs complimenting Jisoo's simple pale green and pink Taito robes.
"Oh Jennie Ruby Jane! You look absolutely magical." gushes the blonde taking her hands away from her face when she attempts to hide her blush.
Jisoo thanks the handmaids for their help and carefully ushers her outside, where Lisa was waiting for them. She was anything but patient, her leg couldn't stop bouncing in anxiousness. I wish I had gotten a chance to relax, it must be the wedding jitters getting to me. She thinks, and I'm not even the groom! How nervous would her brother feel?
Unlike the two girls, she was dressed in rich Midde garments, a traditional formal wear and royal attire for male royalty though with a mix of feminine design to represent her Manshee heritage, brandishing the Manoban colors of velvet reds, golds and black. Her nervous jittery energy was apparent, keeping her fingers occupied and feet in tiny jumps. Jisoo eyes the countless medals adorned on her torso, jingling together with the Manshee's every movement.
Her attention snapped to her right when she saw a white cloud walk out of those doors. Jennie. Lisa hadn't noticed that she had leapt from her seat until Rosie's eyes followed her up. She stood there stunned as a deer for hunt for a moment before regaining her calm, she bows before the bride. Their breaths unsteady, unsure if this was the way they had wanted to address themselves.
"Nini... Bambam is lucky to have you." were the only words she could find to say. "Please this way. I was going to accompany my brother to the hall but he insisted I check on you first." Lalisa, ever the fairytale prince, offers her arm to Jennie earning a slight pout from Rosé, who links arms with Jisoo instead.
