Chapter 4

Rachel's P.O.V

"Well this is my stop.." I say as I gesture towards the building.

"Ok, well then I will see you tomorrow and remember you can talk to me about anything. Got that?" Josh states.

"Yeah, yeah whatever. See you tomorrow."

"Ok bye."

I start to head up the stairs and then see this really creepy dude sitting there. He is probably just waiting for someone. Once I enter the building, though, I noticed that he has gotten and is now right behind me. Its probably nothing. I keep walking towards the elevator but I quickened my pace.

The elevator doors opened and we stepped inside. Yeah, I know what your thinking, why the hell would you go in an elevator when there is a creepy, possible molester behind you? Well don't blame me, blame the author. (Hey no braking the fourth wall, sheesh. Its supposed to create suspense, duh. Anyways continue) I decided to try and start a conversation because the air in thee felt very tense.

"So um I have never seen you here before...did you just move in..?" I ask. He basically just nodded at that was all. Once we reached the our floor I got off and turned left. I was almost at my apartment door then suddenly a pair off arms wrapped around me. My combat skills kicked in and I took the person's arm and flip their whole body over mine. They landed with a thud.

"Who the hell are you and why the fuck are you trying to grab me?!"

"H-hold on..I can..shit that hurt..I can explain." He said while clenching his back. I noticed it was the creepy guy from before. the only difference was that his was off this time.

"Yeah, you better." I say while glaring at him.

He looks up at me and says,"Rachel, you seriously don't recognize me?" I shake my head as a response.

"2nd grade, the tire swing, moon stone." He says simply. My eyes widen in shock as I loosen my grasp on him.

"...Aiden.?"

He breathes out. "Thank goodness. I don't know what I would do if you didn't remember." He smiles as he says this.

"Oh my gosh, its been so long." I help him up and help him dust off.

"Yeah it has and the first thing you do to me is flip me." He says while chuckling.

"Well its not my fault you were acting like a rapist." I go in for hug.

"Pft, whatever.." He hugs me back. "Say, do you wanna hang out for a bit? You know so you could probably show me around town."

"Sure just let me put away my stuff." Gesturing to my backpack.

"OK."

After we came out of the building I decided to show Aiden the easy routes around town just in case he ever gets lost, which i know he would. It was fun seeing him again. Turns out he is going to start going to JFK as well. This was gonna be great.

Josh P.O.V.

I was walking down the street when I saw Rachel and some random guy I didn't know walking and laughing. Instantly i went into jealous mode because I have a minor crush on her and this dude was not gonna ruin that for me.

"Hey Rachel!!" She turned around and smiled warmly as she saw me coming towards them. Man she had the prettiest smile.

"Hey Josh. Hey i want you to meet my childhood friend Aiden. Aiden this is one of my classmates Josh." She gestured towards the guy standing next to her.

"Nice to meet you Josh." He extended his hand for a shake and so did I. There was something about this dude I did not like but I couldn't put my finger on it..

"Well me and Aiden have to be getting back home soon so I will see you tomorrow. So bye." She then started to walk away. Then out of no where I get shoved into a wall by none other then Aiden.

"Listen here, Josh, you see that girl over there?" he points at Rachel, "She is mine, got it? Good." And with that he let go off my shirt and started to catch up to Rachel. This guy, was bad news. I have got to tell Rachel as soon as I can.
