Chapter 6

Aiden's P.O.V

I was laying on my couch doing nothing in particular when I heard a knock on my door. It startled me so much that I fell off my couch.

"Shit." I heard a soft laugh outside my apartment door. I got up and opened up my door to find Rachel standing before me.

"Hey, are you ok Mr. Clumsy-pants?" She chuckled slightly.

"Shut up." I replied playfully. I really did miss this about her. As children we used to call each other funny/ harsh names and then laugh it off. Sometimes when we were bored we would make up contests to see who could make up the worst name. She usually won. "What do you want woman?"

"Woman, wonders if you would like to come with me and Josh to a party."

"Of course I would, just let me go change, considering that I am still in my pjs."

"Ok, I will wait right here then."

I went into my bedroom to go change. I didn't really want to go to the party for a few reasons.

1. I didn't know anyone there so it would be hella awkward.

2. That dude Josh was going and Im pretty damn sure he was going to get in the way of my plans

I walked back Rachel who was texting on her phone. "I'm ready."

"Hm? Oh great, Josh is downstairs so lets go."

"Ok." I followed her downstairs.

Rachel's P.O.V

I was so happy that Aiden was coming along with me and Josh. I didn't want him to be all alone, plus he has to get used to the JFK high students and see how crazy they can be. I opened the car door and greeted Josh with a smile.

"Hello, Joshy-woshy~." I said playfully teasing him.

"Hey, I told you not to call me th- Oh..you're here." He said while nodding towards Aiden. "Your name was..?"

Aiden was about to say something but I cut him off before he could. "Aiden. his name is Aiden. Remember i texted you that I wanted him to come with us?" I could feel the tension in the small space.

"Oh yeah..totally..." Josh said as he turned on the engine. "Well don't just stand there you two, lets go party!!"

~Le Time Skip~

As we drove into the drive way of Olivia Holester, who was the most popular and richest girl in school, we could here the speakers blasting out music. We could even here it from the inside of the car.

"You guys go ahead, I'll meet you inside, I just gotta go park the car in the garage." Josh said.

"Alright." Me and walked up to Olivia's door which was completely open. We walked past a couple making out. "..Gross." I whispered to Aiden.

He chuckled a bit. "So I'm guessing you've never had your first yet, huh?"

"First what?"

"Kiss."

My face completely filled with blush from what he had said. "..I..I have.." The truth was that I had never had my first kiss before.

"I see, well then I will be your second." He said with a wink.

"Sh-shut up." I playfully punched his shoulder.

      As we walked into the house it filled with about everyone from school, even some freshmen most of us didn't even know. We eventually were "greeted" by Olivia, who questioned why we (i) was here and I replied saying that Josh had invited me. She rolled her eyes and stormed off to go talk to some popular kids.

"Hey, do you want one?" Aiden asked holding a beer towards me. I shook my head no.

"Sorry i don't drink."

"Aww c'mon, just give it a try." He put on a pouty face.

I laughed. "Ok, ok..maybe just a little." I take the can open it up and take a sip. I cringed at the weird taste and burning sensation going down my throat. Aiden laughed at my reaction.

"Don't worry, you'll get used to it eventually." He said.

"Yeah yeah, whatever." 

~A few hours later~

It was probably about 9..10 o'clock? I didn't even know anymore. I was too drunk to know anything anymore. A drunken Aiden and some few other people stumbled over towards me.

"Hey..*hic* Rachel..wanna play some..*hic* spin the bottle?" Aiden slurred. I nodded happily, not knowing what I was going to get myself into. Our small group walked towards a semi-empty room and grabbed an empty wine bottle. First to go was Olivia and some random guy named Maurice who was, and I admit, pretty damn cute.

 Olivia smiled and place a small kiss on his lips. He blushed since i guess he wasn't all that used to being kissed by someone. Next Maurice spun the bottle and it landed on some girl i had never seen. It went like this for a while until it was my turn. I spun the bottled until it stopped and looked up at who it pointed at. Instantly my face went crimson and I looked down.

Aiden?? Why Aiden? Out of everybody here..why him? I don't like him like that but..do I? May- I felt a gentle hand cup my cheek and I looked up in shock. Aiden was closing in and i didn't have a back up plan so I just stayed still. I felt him lips brush against mine and it felt like pure bliss. Immediately i kiss back but just before he pulls away. I look at him with a blush covered face and he whispers:

"I told you I would be your second."
