Tyler's POV
i was on the basketball court with my friends, abby, priya and jordan. me and jordan were playing a game of horse while the girls just watched because they didn't want to play. i was just about to win when i started getting a call. i pulled out my phone and almost dropped it when i saw the name it showed. the name i honestly thought i wouldn't see again. miriam. i told them it was a family emergency and needed to go and immediately started running home to call her back. when i got home i closed the door behind me and ran upstairs to my room, not even stopping to answer my mom when she asked how my day was. when i got to my room i instantly pulled out my phone to call her back and hoping she would pick up. it rang once, twice, "dammit miriam come on." almost as if she heard me say that she picked up the phone right after that. "hey ty.." she sounded different, but also the same. "four years and the best you got is hey?" i heard her laugh on the other end and i knew she liked the joke. "listen tyler, i need your help with something." "what is it?" "it's a lot." "i've got time." she explained to me how she was coming back to toronto soon and she was about to start the second half of whatever this is. "so what do you need me to do?" "i'm getting there tyler, geez still zero patience as always." "okay well get there faster." she sighed, almost like she was hesitant to say the next part. "i want to write these notes, kind of like a secret admirer, with the last one telling her to meet me at joey's, where i'll be waiting to sing some stupid cheesy song or something. the only issue being-" i cut her off because i started to understand what she needed me to do, "you won't be here to put them in her locker." "exactly." "so you want me to wrote these notes, put them in her locker and hope she doesn't find out i'm the one putting them in there?" "listen i know it sounds stupid but this is something i really want to do for her so if you please just help me with this one thing i promise i'll never ask for anything again."  "that seems like a lie but, fine. i'll help you." we talked for another hour or so, she was telling me what to write while i wrote them down. she would be getting here like a week after school started, meaning i would need 5 notes, once for each day of school. lets just hope this goes okay. something tells me i'm gonna regret this.
