Last night I found out that my future self went back to the past and became one inside my mind. I didn't even think the time machine worked, and how did my future self go inside my mind? That doesn't make sense, and I'm convinced that this is a dream and I'm in a coma. What if I am?
All-day in my class, I keep thinking about it and can't focus on my studies, and today we have another audition.
The bad thing is, I'm going to have to see Lydia auditioned. I know how she sings, how she's good at acting- no wonder she manipulated me. I will try my best to hold my grudges against her because this is for Joy. She always wants this play, and I will respect whatever she wants if she's happy.
Now I'm sitting in the auditorium with Joy, and I brought Jessie with me because she will record the audition. Well, I mostly want Jessie here for my mental support.
"Lydia is here?" Jessie whispered to me as we stole a glance towards Joy. I helped Jessie prop the camera on the stage.
"Yes, can you believe that? Joy had to hide it from me," I said as I groaned.
"I'm sure she has a good intentions, Claude. You can't be mad at her," Jessie brushed my arm.
"Who says I am?" I raise an eyebrow.
"By your tone. You sound mad," Jessie shrugged.
"I'm not," I said as I cut my eyes at her. Then the door opened, and I saw many familiar people entering the auditorium, "speak of the devil. She's here," I folded my arms as I waited for them to walk up to the stage, and one particular person went closer to me.
"What are you doing here?" Lydia asked as she raised an eyebrow.
"Watching you audition and determine whether you got the play or not," I spoke.
"She's helping me, Lydia," Joy said as she gestured for me to come down from the stage.
"So you two a thing now?" Lydia asked as I walked past her, and I ignored her. I wouldn't give her the satisfaction of me saying Yes or Not.
I sat beside Joy, and she took over the auditorium, "Alright guys, thank you for coming. We're going to audition the perfect couple for Aurora and Philip, so please, when I say your name make a line to the side of the stage," then Joy began calling out the names until the end. I kept watching Maggie while I was hoping that she would make an effort in this audition because I wouldn't want to see my ex playing in my soulmate's play.
The audition will be the scene where Aurora tells Philip about her accepting the marriage. Then turns after turns until it was Maggie and Hugh. I crossed my finger as they started their play. Maggie and Hugh walk to the middle of the stage as I observe the couple. Maggie has brown hair, and she's a bit tall. Hugh, on the other hand, has black hair and is taller than Maggie.
Hugh walk behind Maggie, "So how important is what you're going to tell me?"
Maggie is fidgeting with her hand as she shows signs of anxiety, "I- I'm going to marry Prince Leo soon," she said. Not bad, I thought.
"Not bad, huh?" I whispered to Joy.
"Pay attention, Harris," she whispered back as I turned my attention back to the stage.
"You agreed?" Hugh's hand tightened into fists. He's showing the sign of jealousy.
"I had to," Maggie shoved her hair back away in frustration.
