IT'S BEEN six months since we arrived here in Auradon. Some things have changed, some haven't, though most have. Like Mal, she looks and acts like a real Lady of The Court, with blond hair, pastel-coloured dresses, etc. Evie has been making dresses and earning money and I am extremely proud of her. Carlos grew out his hair and grew taller, which made me develop an even bigger crush on the guy. I'm now wearing more dresses, but still in my colours and crap. Jay hasn't changed a pinch, but he is now captain of the fencing team.

The boys have joined the fencing team because the tourney season is over until next year. Lonnie tells me she wants to join the team because their down a man since Ben had to leave with all that king stuff, and I think she should. You know, she's a lot like her mother, independent and fearless.

Basically, E has been creating dresses for Cotillion. Cotillion is the ceremony where Mal is going to become a Lady of The Court, which might be why she's acting like one for the past month or two.

Carlos and I have gotten a lot closer, some think we're dating, which I wouldn't exactly mind. Anyway, we're not, sadly. He has been acting weirdly around me these past couple of days though, he's been more nervous and quiet to me. It confuses my mind, but he'd tell me if something was off... right?

Audrey broke up with Chad and left for an early vacation, meaning I was more than happy about it. No Audrey, no drama.

I was on my bed, wearing a green flannel with a black and white patterned crop top underneath, a black leather skirt, mesh tights, gold jewelry/bracelets and combat boots.

I read my English book for school, I was tasked with reading a couple of chapters which were due next Monday, today was Thursday by the way.

Evie was helping Mal try on her dress for Cotillion. "Ooh!"

E had just zipped it up all the way. "Okay, Evie, I can not breathe."

"You can breathe after Cotillion, Mal." I chuckled as I had just finished reading. I placed the book back in my bag that was on the ground beside my mattress.

"I sincerely doubt that. I have at least twenty more events directly behind it and I can't even remember what a single one of them is." Mal sighed as Evie kissed her fingers at how perfectly the dress fit and looked on her.

"Oh, impeccable."

"Well, I can go ask Ben and write them all down for you, if it helps, M." I smiled at her, standing up beside Eve.

"You wouldn't mind?" She said, a small beaming grin on her face.

"No, we have time until school starts anyway." I conjured a pen and notebook, grabbing my school bag as I did. "All right, well, I'll see you two later!"

"Bye!" E waved as I shut the door.

I knocked on Ben's office door and I heard a muffled 'Come in!', I stepped inside. "Hi, Ben."

"Oh, hey, Esme! What can I do for you?" He smiled charmingly, per usual.

"Uh, I just have a question. What upcoming events do you have with Mal? I want to know so...I can plan when to hang out with her." I chuckled, trying not to sound like I was lying.

If I said 'Hey! Mal doesn't remember any upcoming events with you two! What are they?' he'd think Mal's a bad girlfriend.

"Uh, well, we have the....and...oh! we also have to..then...on Wednesday..." So, there were a lot of events, like a lot, and I wrote them all down and when they'd take place.

"All right, that's all I needed. Thanks, Benny Boo!" I giggled with him glaring at the back of my head because of the nickname. I turned back around swiftly, reminding him. "We have class in ten minutes by the way."

"Oh, shi-" (I'm not sure if Ben has school or class bc he's the king so..)

"Language! Come on, we have History together." I beckoned, ripping the page out of the book, sticking it into my pocket and vanishing the pen and book.

"Yep, coming." He stated, standing up and grabbing his crossover bag.

I walked with Ben toward the group of girls. Ben stood right behind her. "Hi, Mal."

"Hi, Ben~" The others greeted with smiles.

"Oh, oh, quick moment." Jane pulled Ben off to the side while E and Lonnie walked off to class.

I stuck around with Mal, pulling the list out of my flannel. "Here, Mal. All upcoming events and their dates."

"Oh, t-thank you, E." She smiled, looking very nervous.

"No problem and..are you okay? You seem shaky and panicked." I touched her shoulder once she took the paper.

"Y-yeah, I'm fine. Don't worry." She nodded placing her hand over mine.

"All right, I'll see you later then, gotta get to class." I took my hand back, walking past her.

"See ya.." I heard her mutter.

I had the last two periods of the day off, so I was searching for Mal to give her the truth gummy that she wanted. M didn't tell me what or who it was for, but I didn't care much at the time. I strode down the hall to Mal's locker, where she said she was going to be. I saw her throw a lock of blonde hair over her shoulder while searching for something.

"Hey, Mal." I smiled, leaning behind the locker door.

"Ah! Oh! Hi, w-what's up?" She furrowed her brows.

"Sorry, did I scare you?" I chuckled and she laughed, shaking her head. "Anyway, I have the truth gummy you asked for."

"Oh, thanks." Mal took the circular container out of my hand, shoving it into her locker.

"All right, I'm going to the Amphitheatre to watch the boys practise. See ya, Mal." I said, touching her shoulder before heading to the Amphitheatre as I said.

"Bye!"

I watched from the second floor of the theatre, looking down at the guys in their yellow and blue sleeveless shirts. I leaned down, elbows against the rail, fidgeting with my rings.

"Carlos, you're with me. Let's go!" Jay announced as everyone got into position. "Rassemblé! Salute! Lower the point. Masks down. En garde."

I heard the sound of swords clashing with each other and the thuds of people doing flips over the cubes. The whole time I only had eyes for a certain white-haired boy, he moved swiftly and easily.

Suddenly a new person joined in. A different-looking body shape than a man's. I'd guess it was Lonnie. She fought Jay, eventually taking his sword but giving it back. He placed the blade over his shoulder, interested to know who was under the mask.

Lonnie took her mask off, wiping her hair dramatically, making me roll my eyes while chuckling.
