A tall blond girl could be seen trailing behind her father on the aisle between the white seats.
"If you shift furthermore, I am confident I'll push you out, Lisa." Mr Manoban said as soon as they both settled down on their respective seats.
Mr Manoban sat on the right side of his wife, while Lisa slumped down on the left side of her dear mother.
Lisa nodded hesitantly, embarrassed and scared. Just as she noticed that Mr Colonel was already receiving a badge from another officer on the stage.
Everyone clapped when Mr Colonel saluted the officer and the people in front of the stage.
Jennie stood up, looking proud as ever as she gave her father a salute from her seat.
Lisa rolled her eyes at Jennie. 'Dramatic Bitch' Lisa thought.
"Mr Kim already received his medal, can we go home now? Lisa is injured." Ji-Ho said to her husband, with a worried face.
"She deserves that honey, and feel advantageous that no one slapped her right on her face," Lisa just looked down at her fingers on her lap when Mr Manoban continued, "And Mr Kim has invited us to lunch too after this function, he'll introduce me to many people whom will be important in my business, please try to understand that."
"Here, Lisa is hurt, and all you can think about is your business" Mrs Kim shook her head as she rubbed her daughter's arm"
Mr Kim spoke on the mic who was in the middle of the stage.
"Firstly, I would like to thank my country, which made me worthy," He said, looking so proud, "Secondly, I wanna thank my team, who supported me and made this mission successful, and lastly," He said as he looked over to his family, "No one can succeed without their family's love and sacrifices." Everyone clapped at this statement, nodding and smiling.
Mr Kim continued to speak while Lisa was getting bored but the brunette a few chairs away from her was listening attentively.
After the function was done, everyone gathered in an area on the other side of the garden, having drinks, and talking to each other.
Jennie and Chaeyoung together were having a conversation.
Jennie was now dressed in a floral white dress. While chaeyoung was wearing a dark blue crop top paired with mustard coloured ripped jeans. Both look elegant as ever.
"Told you, you'd look nice in casual clothes, not uniform, Jennie," Chaeyoung said to her sister while savouring orange juice.
"I just wore that so I can salute my father, Pasta!" Jennie said, laughing but he stopped when she saw the three manobans entering the area.
On the other side, Mr Manoban scolded Lisa for making a scene.
"Don't do something embarrassing now you stupid," He said, pointing his finger at Lisa. "Now, I and your mother will go and meet Mr Colonel," they both went towards where Mr Kim was standing.
And at the same time, someone called Chaeyoung.
"Hey! Chaeyoung! Come here and have a drink with us!" The boy shouted.
"Hey Sis, I'll go to my friends," To which Jennie nodded.
As Jennie was looking around the garden while smiling she thought that someone is staring at her. She looked around and saw the same girl whom she pushed a while ago.
Lisa glared at her while gritting her teeth. While Jennie can just stare at her. Lisa soon left and Jennie felt somewhat... empty.
'Aish, what an annoying person,' She said.
