After about thirty minutes of struggle, Goose, Cascade, and Gleam managed to trap Jay in a cage that Cascade magic-proofed.
"Who is that?!" Jay asked. "And what the fuck is this?!"
"This is Cascade." Gleam said, pointing. "That is a trap."
Cascade frowned and Goose stared at his furious friend. Her eyes were red, like said forbidden kool-aid.
"It is very hard to reverse the effects of the kool-aid." Cascade said. "Between magic and how mad she is, and maybe even the kool-aid itself, I can't reach her."
"Dammit." Goose swore.
Cascade sighed. "I'm sorry I can't do more."
"Let me go." Jay practically snarled.
"No." Gleam said. "You're stuck now."
And then the cage exploded.
Goose yelled and turned, seeing Stevie behind him. Then both of them disappeared.
