chapter six

"you know you can talk to me about it" techno said entering the boy's room

dream sighed as he sat on the end of his bed

"variant" dream says 

"yeah so?" techno says sitting down at the small couch that was at the end of dreams bed

"i watched georges test, he failed. he failed like i did." dream said

"hes variant?" techno questioned 

dream nodded

"does he know?" 

"i dont know, and i think thats why foolish acted the way he acted. they all know the rules for variants." dream said as he looked at the ground

techno sighed. for some reason dream cared for this boy. many of the older members could see it. but dream just denied it. 

"dream you've got to talk to him" techno said as he stood up

"their not here for us to be friends with them" dream says as he stands up and walks over to his balcony

"dream they are now apart of this team" techno said as he stared at the boy who was paying no attention to him

techno sighed as he turned around and walked towards the door 

"have everyone in the dinning hall in thirty" dream said, but didnt turn around

techno heard, but he didnt say anything back. he walked out of dreams room but as he was about to close the door he sighed, "your tests from last night. you were close dream." he said and then closed the door behind him. 

dream sighed as he let the cold winds hit him in the face. maybe he did like george. but as a friend of course. he didnt really do the whole.. love thing. 

"dinning hall" techno shouted to room two, where the new recruits slept, who were now apart of the team. they all got up and walked out. 

room one where the old members slept was empty, techno laughed, "someones excited" he said to himself as he walked past the room

"how'd you guys get here before me" dream said as he walked into the dinning hall

"im gonna fucking crush you!" tommy smirked 

"ah i see you all know what were playing" dream laughed

"your gonna get smoked" sapnap laughed

"hmm with all this backtalk i dont know who will be the second team captain" dream winked

"what the fuck!" tommy groaned, "ive been waiting for forever"

"yeah yeah, go set up and ill think about it" dream smiled

"tubbo come on" tommy said as he ran out of the dinning hall

"really had to get him excited?" tubbo told dream, dream smirked as tubbo rolled his eyes and ran after tommy

"dream you should pick me" sapnap smirked

"your not the one setting up are you?" dream smiled 

"douche" sapnap pouted

"ah welcome" dream said to the group walking in

"little late for training hm" foolish said sarcastically 

dream ignored him, "congrats you've all passed and now are officially apart of this team" he smiled a little

the group cheered and laughed

"alright well tonight were gonna play a little game called capture the flag..the rules are simple, there will be two teams, mine, and tommys team. each team has a minute to hide their flag anywhere around the place we will be heading. the place is an old amusement park, a large one. so please dont get lost--" he says as he looks over at sapnap
