lost boys [dreamnotfound]

chapter nine

"wilbur where are you going?" george said as he watched all the boys get up off of their beds at the same time, lining up next to the door. wilbur didnt respond. 

"skeppy?" george said walking up to them. skeppy didnt answer either. 

"this is probably the serum" george thought to himself. he then heard footsteps coming down the hall. he quickly joined the line that the boys stood in. george wondered, "why isnt this happening to me, techno gave me the serum.."

george then saw callahan at the entrance of their door, he nodded to them and turned around to walk down the hall. all the boys followed him. george was in confusion as they reached the roof. 

"get them in the train techno, give them guns. ill tell the boss to start them" callahan said 

techno nodded as he stared george in the eyes. george could see techno have a small amount of relief as he looked away

all the boys followed techno into the train. sapnap was already in it as he passed everyone guns. 

sapnap looked at george then back at techno, techno shook his head. sapnap smiled a bit but quickly went back to passing the boys guns when callahan entered into the train with another boy. 

george gasped a little, but not to much for anyone to notice as he saw who the boy was. it was dream. 

dream stood infront of george as the train started to move. george sighed as he could tell that dream was under whatever control that the rest of the boys were on. until he saw dreams hand slowly move backwards and grab georges hand. interlocking their fingers, dream and george both sighed of relief. 

the train stopped at the entrance of the city. callahan got off first, sapnap and techno shortly followed. callahan whispered something to techno as the rest of the boys got off the train. 

callahan then walked away and into the city. all the boys started to split up and walk around, holding their guns as they were ready to shoot at anyone. 

techno nodded to sapnap and then looked at dream. he then walked the opposite way of the three. 

sapnap quickly walked to george and dream and grabbed them both by the arm and quickly walked the opposite way of techno. 

"god george we thought it wouldnt work" sapnap said as he let go of both boys arms

dream sighed as he looked around to see if anyone was near

"techno gave me the serum, how come im not crazy like the others?" george asked

"george your variant." sapnap said, "the serum doesnt work on variants. because their supposed to be dead. thats why we do testing, is to pick out the variants." he sighed, "i never knew it was going to come down to this though." 

"if you knew i was variant..why didnt you kick me out?" 

sapnap sighed as he looked at dream who was at the other end of the alley that they stood in, "were all variant george. me, dream, tommy, tubbo, techno, and punz." 

"oh my god.." george mumbled, "wheres everyone else?" 

"their safe, i told callahan that they were out looking for survivors." sapnap said as he picked his gun back up, "ive got to go" 

"go where?" george asked

"callahan thinks techno and i are betraying dream, so ive got to stick with that so we can stop this." sapnap said walking out of the alleyway 

george walked up to dream at the other end. "we've got to find the others-" dream said but gets cut off by george hugging him

dream smiled a little as he hugged the boy back, "come on george" he said breaking out of the hug and grabbing georges hand as they left the alley
