It was getting late .

I was in the kitchen .

I clipped my hair up and put my hands on the counter .

" Goodnight Bran ." Said Aaliyah coming up to me .

She gave me a rub on the shoulder , and I heard her go up the steps .

I pulled up the straps on my tank top .

I grabbed a glass from the cabinet and set it down on the counter .

I poured some pink lemonade into the glass .

I heard somebody coming into the kitchen .

I put the pink lemonade container back in the refrigerator .

I turned around .

It was Devanté .

I just didn't want to say anything to him .

I knew if I did , it was just end up in an argument .

And I was praying he didn't say anything to me for the same reason .

I took a sip of it and set the glass down .

I took a deep breath and looked up .

He was staring dead at me .

There was a silence .

" Brandy , I can't stand you ." He said .

" I can't stand you neither ." I responded back .

" I can't stand that fact that I have to be around yo ass , after you left me ." He said coming around to my side of the counter .
