SAINT

"Mukha kang tanga."

I irritatedly shifted my gaze to one of my best friends, Ada, who said that ridiculous comment. "You little shit. How dare you?" I spat and looked at myself. Me? Tanga? I most definitely do not look like that.

"Masyado ka kasing halata, boba." She laughed, stealing a glance at the woman that I was previously eyeing from afar. Okay, so maybe that was a little weird, but it wasn't my fault that she was in my direct line of sight. I just couldn't resist. Not when she looked so beautiful.

She was wearing a baby blue silk bodycon dress that stopped a couple of inches above her knees and her long violet peekaboo styled hair was curled up in beautiful waves. She also had bangs that were just a tad too long so I often catch her blowing on it to keep it away from her eyes which I found really adorable. She looked like a doll, to be honest. I've never once seen her here before and I was a regular. Most people were practically familiar faces to me.

"In fairness, maganda nga. Mukha siyang manika," Ada suddenly said as if she read my mind, still staring at the woman.

"Stop it," I hissed and gave her arm a light smack.

"Wow! Kapag ikaw pwede? Ako bawal? Batas ka?"

I rolled my eyes at her. For some reason, the thought of someone else staring at her the way that I do, annoyed me. It didn't feel right. I didn't care if I was being unreasonable, but I covered Ada's eyes with my hand. "Stop looking." Utos ko sa kaniya ulit.

"Pota ka! Masisira eye make-up ko!"

"Her friend. Look at her friend. Ang ganda rin."

She wasn't wrong. Her friend was really pretty too, but I didn't quite notice her before. I was completely zeroed in on this woman who appeared as if she was bored out of her mind. Maybe that was why I haven't seen her here before? Maybe clubbing isn't her scene? Her friend, on the other hand, looked so damn energetic. Even from afar I could tell that she was similar to Ada.
