"Mom, I'm so nervous." I said as I smiled uncontrollably. I stared at my mother through the mirror as she fixed my hair.
"I can't believe my daughter is finally getting married." She squealed loudly in my ear.
"Nikabear!" I turned around to see Bey wearing a purple bridesmaid dress. I hopped up and hugged her tightly.
"Lemme see the dress." She smiled. I opened the closet and took out my pink dress. They both looked....weirdly at it.
"What? Is it ugly?" I asked them.
"Um...no, but don't you think that's a little weird for a wedding dress?"
"And too inappropriate?" Mom asked.
"No. Chris helped me pick it out." I smiled.
"That explains it." Ma mumbled. "Oh, whatever. So are you guys gonna help me with my makeup and hair or are you just gonna criticize my clothes?" I sat down in front of the mirror.

"Man, ya sure ya wanna do dis?" August asked me.
"Yea, man. I'm so nervous. I can't wait to see her." I smiled at myself in the mirror.
"Well, I'm proud of you, bro. But you know you not gon be doing everything you used to when you was a bachelor, right?" Mike said.
"Its all worth it." I answered.
"Chris, lemme talk ta' ya fa' a minute." August motioned to go outside.
"Wassup?"
"I know ya know I luh Nicki, right?" I nodded my head.
"I want ya ta' take care of ha' and dem kids. Don't let no bullshit come between y'all."
"Trust me, I won't. Thanks for the advice, man." I gave him a lil hug, not no girlie hug and we went back inside.

"Ta da!" I stared at my hair in the mirror.
"Thank ya, boo." I got up and hugged her.
"Anything for my best friend. And you can come to me to tell me anything if something happen."
"I know."
"Bey, we gotta her dress on. Its about to start."
"C'mon, go, go, go!" They rushed me into the bathroom.

I stood at the alter, August was by my side. I watched as the people in the audience chattered away. But I didn't really care bout them right now. I was ready for Nicki to walk out any minute.
There she was. She clutched onto her brother's sleeve as she walked down the isle, holding her bouquet of pink flowers. She smiled at me and I smiled back. Once they reached the alter, she kissed his cheek and came and stood in front of me.
"You may now take your seat." The pastor stepped up.
"We are gathered here today to witness this act of love shared by two people..." I zoned off staring at Nicki. She looked so beautiful right now.
"The couple has written their own vows. Christopher?"
"Alright. Nicki, I remember the first time I laid eyes on you. You were the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. All this time we've spent for the past 10 months, I've cherished each moment. I've cherished every time I made love to you. And I've cherished the day my beautiful kids were born," I looked down at CJ and Camille in mama's lap. "But this is the best day. I get to share my love with you and with the rest of my family and friends as they witness this act. Nicki, I love you." I smiled as a tear rolled down my cheek.
"Nicki?" The pastor looked at her.
"Christopher, it was hard for me to write my love for down on paper, so instead this is coming from my heart. I love you, Chris. You're the reason I smile everyday. I love everything about you and what you do to me. I could never imagine a day where we never said I love you to each other or when we weren't thinking of saying it out loud. You blessed me with two beautiful amazing children and I thank you for everything you've done for me. I love you, baby." Hot tears rolled down her cheeks as her bottom lip quivered.
Is there anyone here feel that these two should not wed?" No one said anything.
They brought out the rings. I slipped hers on and she slipped mine on.
"Congratulations. You are now man and wife! You may kiss the bride."
I had been waiting for him to say that since we started. I pulled her closer and crashed my lips onto hers.
"I love you, baby." I whispered.
After party
"Y'all ready?" I asked them. Everybody pulled out their cameras and phones.
Nicki laid her hand on top of mine and pushed down as everyone took pictures of us cutting the cake.

"You want some, Cami?" I cooed as she reached for my cake. Chris walked over holding CJ.
"Yo mama wanna talk to you." I licked my fingers and picked up Camille and made my way over to her and Bey.
"Hey, Cami. Nicki, sweetie, I just wanted to say...you made the right decision." She smiled.
"Thank you, mama." I kissed her cheek.
We stood next to the limo and all the women waited for me to throw my bouquet. I turned around and threw it in the air. They all wrestled and Lauren came up holding it.
The girls feebly clapped for her. I laughed and we got in the limo with Cami and CJ.
"I love you so much, baby." Chris kissed me.
"I love you too. And y'all too." I pinched their cheeks.
This book is finally over. Chris and Nicki got married for those who wanted them to. They got kids together and they both lived happily ever after. Maybe. The sequel is called Bad Decisions. Be breezy!
