Y/n POV

It was bright daylight. And I was drinking coffee in my new favorite cafe, Anteiku.

As of now... I'm walking toward the location given by Sen. After arriving, I take a quick review about the cafe.

"Hmm... It's not the best. But it's not bad either. It seems perfectly neutral for me!"

Upon entering, I look around and saw Sen Takatsuki moving her hand, telling me to come. I walk closer to her and sat on the chair.

"So... how's it? The cafe." She asked.

I thought for a while and answer "Not bad, it's kinda nice."

"Glad you like it."

The waiter came and ask for our order. Sen simply said hers while I don't. The waiter nodded and left.

"Why don't you order a coffee? Do you not like coffee?"

"I just had a cappuccino before coming here. And I don't like drinking too much of em."

Sen nodded in understanding. A few moments later, the waiter came back with a coffee. The waiter place the coffee on a table and went back to work. She start smiling. "So, let's get to the topic. Shall we?"

I bend my head while wondering what is the topic.

Our eyes met each other and didn't blink even once until Sen said something. "What's your hobby?"

"I guess I don't have one? But probably reading books and training."

"What's your age?"

"Around 18-25. Honestly, I don't know."

"Final question. Can you give me an idea for a new book? I'm having a little problem at that part." She asked while bowing her head with her hand making a please sign.

"Eh?" I wanted to say I don't know. But seeing her right now, makes me think that I should say other thing.

"I don't know about writing." Sen then looked displeased with my answer.

"But maybe hangman might be good?" She then smile and looked pleased by my answer.

What a fast yet strange change of mood.

"That's enough. That's actually a good help." Sen's phone rang, she took it and after looking, she close it.

I became confused. I then ask her "Isn't that call important?"

"It's ok, after all, right now is the time for us to hang out, right?"

I nodded. We spend some time in the cafe... Talking about stuff. I didn't understand some of them, but it's fine.

After a while, we left the cafe. After walking together along the road, we finally part our ways.

I start walking back to my home while thinking about today's event.

(Phew... Talking one on one to a girl for a long period of time sure is hard. Not hard, more like...feels hard.)

I got home and pack my things.

"Well well, let's start." I go to different alleys in the 20th ward. Killing every ghouls, not a single one left.

I wipe some blood from my face and look at my quinque that's covered in blood.

"..."

"That should be enough. I only met a few ghouls, but blood covered my blade already? Let's...take a rest."

-Timeskip-

It's Saturday and as usual, I went to Anteiku for my daily coffee. When I came in, I sat on a chair and order one cup of coffee. While waiting I began thinking of today's event that I might have to deal with.

(I need something to do today. If I don't, I'll probably just spend the whole day laying on bed.)

The waiter came with my coffee. He put it on the table and left with a smile. Man, what a good guy.

Not long after, I saw a child running outside of the corridor. She's Hinami from that time.

"Oh!"

Hinami look at me and run toward me. "Ohayo Nii-san." She greeted me with a smile.

"Morning Hinami." (Such innocence... I must protect da child.)

Her mother then came, following her.

"Oh, good morning sir." Ryouko greeted me.

"Please don't call me sir. I'm younger than you, I should be the one calling you ma'am. Also, morning ma'am."

"Alright then. I see that you have a good relationship with Hinami." "Hinami, I'm going out for a while. Please stay here and be a good girl."

"Alright mom! Don't worry, I'm going to be with Mr. Y/n." Hinami said

"Sorry to trouble you, Y/n."

"Not at all, ma'am."

Ryouko then wave her hand to Hinami before going outaide.

As I drink my coffee, I could see her looking at me.

Wondering what she wants, I told her to sat next to me. Turns out, she is holding a book.

"Oh, do you need help reading that book?" I asked.

"Huh?! Uh...yes." She answered while blushing embarrassingly.

(So cute. Guess I wouldn't be bored anyway.)

"Alright! Let's start then." I start teaching Hinami. From basic words, so she could understand most of the kanji written in the book. Then, I start teaching her the words she wanted to know. Not only telling what is it, but also telling the meaning.

Hours has passed. I'm definitely enjoying my time teaching Hinami. I  never knew that teaching would be this fun. It's also funny seeing Hinami trying to learn those words.

We finish the book and now I didn't have anything to do. Or that's what I thought. I feel that someone is leaning on me, and I saw Hinami sleeping. She must be tired, after all, those are a lot of things for a child to learn.

"Guess I got another task." I stand up and carry her. I walk to another chair that have enough room so she can lay down. I took off my shirt, don't worry, I wear a t-shirt. I place the shirt above Hinami.

She seems to feel more comfy after. I look above for a while. (Guess spending time like this would't be bad after all.)

30 minutes passed and Hinami's mother finally came back.

"Oh my, what's this?" She asked upon looking at Hinami.

"She got a little tired, that's all."

"Sorry for troubling you, Y/n ."

"No worries. I'm ready to help anytime." I replied. Ryouko grab Hinami and carry her. She then go after saying good bye and thanks to me.

"Now, guess I'll go."
