To my suprise, Mason didn't mention anything while driving, he was just silent, his eyes focusing on the road.
"We'll talk at home, Kai!"
My hopes of putting this all behind were dashed when Mason mentioned it.
What am I supposed to tell him now? It seems to me that he literally felt Kiara's presence.
Kind of ironic.
I feel like Mase senses there's still something between me and Kiara. That everything isn't over yet. Or it was kindled again, I'm not aware of that myself.

"What?" Mase replied confused at what I've been trying to explain to him for the past half hour.
"Oh Mase, what don't you understand?" I answered a bit desperately, because I didn't want to tell him all again.
"Everything?" he answered somewhat embarrassed while scratching behind his ear.
"Sometimes I wonder how you can be so smart." I replied with a sigh.
"Yeah yeah really funny, but can you give me a short version of everything again? Please?" he admitted with a small smile.
"Of course, because it's you," I replied, smiling.
"So, as short as possible: Kiara is my ex-girlfriend, we were together when I was in Leverkusen, and then we broke up. When we saw each other again, our fuses blew and that's why we fought, or we still fight, as you like to call it. When she left her lip gloss the other day, I helped her look, we got drunk and then kissed. And finally in the storage room. We just wanted to talk and forget everything, the kiss, our connection, but then we both got into an argument again and then dumped some stuff. Afraid of being found in the storage room together, Kiara sneaked behind the door. So that's the short version. If it doesn't matter, I want to go to sleep now as I'm dead tired."
When I finished telling the story, I was relieved on the one hand and depressed on the other. I told Mason the truth, at least half of it. I myself think that nobody needs to know about the real thing that happened in this storage room and that's why this argument-thing was the best solution, which didn't even sound like a lie to be honest.
"Can you explain to me exactly how the kiss came about?" Mason replies, now a little more enlightened.
"Just ask Jule. It's best to call him, he knows every detail.", I answered while I made my way to the stairs to get to my room.
"Jule already knows all that?" he asked reproachfully.
"Not everything, not today's events, but the kiss." I answered with a shrug, while my eyelids grew heavier and heavier.
"That's unfair."
"Get over it Mase and chat to Julian, I'm going to sleep." I said with my back turned to him.
"Okay, sleep well Kai."
I just turned my head to give him a small smile before stepping up the stairs.
