Changbin led Felix to a recording studio room tucked away on the top floor of the building. It didn't seem like many people were privy to the area, Changbin using a thumbprint to open the door.
The room was twice the size of Chan's, heavily decorated with the latest, greatest tech. Felix's eyebrows raised as he looked around the room. Strips of LEDs lined the edges of the walls, various posters and shelves of collectable toys adorning them. A giant neon sign hung on the far wall reading "SPEARB."
"Wait a minute," Felix started, turning to Changbin. "Your father's the CEO, so... this... is your room?" The rapper smiled, slightly, looking down at the floor as he nodded. "I guess it has it's perks," he replied, turning the lights on. He jiggled the mouse on an expensive PC, signing in and bringing up a music production program. He patted the seat next to him, Felix sitting beside him. "I wanted to show you something," the rapper said. "It was initially going to be my response to your confession." Felix looked at the screen, giving it his full attention as a song began to play. A beautiful, lilting voice sang over a relaxing, catchy keyboard sound.
"Nega joheunikka
Dareun iyuneun eopseo nega joheunikka
Geudae unneun moseup barabomyeon nan deoneun baral ge eopseo
Geunyang nega joheunikka..."
Felix's cheeks burned hot listening to the lyrics repeat. He looked at Changbin, the man holding his gaze, warmly. "You wrote this... for me?" Changbin nodded. "It sounds... how you make me feel. Hopeful. Calm. Happy." He thought for a moment. "I want you to finish it with me."
Felix's eyes widened, looking between the screen and the man. "Fin... finish it?" Changbin nodded, taking the Aussie man's hand, gingerly. "I want you to be on my first album. This song is about you. I want it to be about us. It would be the perfect love song." Felix looked frightened, unsure of what to say. "I promise," the rapper continued, "I'll do all of the technical work, myself, and I'll walk you through the royalty paperwork, just... if you wouldn't mind... it would mean the world to me." Felix smiled, looking into Changbin's eyes. He took the rapper's hand in his own, assuredly. "If you're positive you want me on it... of course I'll do my best for you, Binnie," he said, Changbin smiling, satisfied.
The rapper sent Felix a link to the song. "Whenever you have time, think over some lyrics for the first verse. We can come here to rehearse them together and I'll record your vocals." Felix nodded, the couple incapable of hiding their smiles. "Oh," Felix remarked, "I wanted to ask you... since you accepted my confession." Changbin listened intently, his face inquisitive yet warm. "Channie... he's still a good friend, to me. I don't want what happened today to ruin that." Felix took both of Changbin's hands in his own. "I swear, I only have eyes for you, Binnie... Can we please all remain friends?"
Changbin thought for a moment, sighing before pulling Felix in for another kiss. The man was so gentle, the kisses sweet and tender, feather soft against Felix's lips. The rapper pressed their foreheads together, nodding. "If he touches you, again, he's finished," he said, Felix laughing, nodding back. "No touching, got it." Changbin sat back, crossing his arms. "And no lone pizza dates, either." Felix pouted. "Then you can't say no when we want to go out for pizza," he challenged. Changbin rose an eyebrow, cocking his head. "Then you must eat one veggie slice each time." He extended his hand as Felix whined, looking down to the corner of the room.
"Fine."
