After arriving at the restaurant, the team immediately orders a bunch of meat. Kiyoko and you make sure that your tabs are separate from everyone else's. It was going to be a war zone with food.
"That game looked fun Yn," Hinata starts the conversation from across the table, "I wanna play next time."
"I don't think coach is gonna allow a next time," you smile. Mission accomplished. You had successfully annoyed Ukai. It was his fault anyways for putting you on the spot like that.
"Anything that Yn leads is bound to be fun🙏" Tanaka yells, somehow managing to include the hands that he always has in the texts.
"And we get meat🙏" Noya says, also somehow managing to include the hands.
You lock eyes with Kiyoko and your lips turn up into a smile. Hers do the same. This team could be crazy, but they always managed to brighten your world.
You watched as meat flew across the table and the noise level continued to escalate. You earned a lot of glares from the people around you, but you couldn't care less. This was your team and you were glad to have them, even if they could be wild sometimes.
At the end of the meal you received the tab. You were glad that Kiyoko thought to get your separate from the boys. They had quite a grand bill. The arguments over who got what started up while you and Kiyoko paid for your own.
The two of you were able to sneak out before anyone noticed you were gone.
"That was nice," Kiyoko softly comments, "even if it was a little chaotic."
"A little?" You smile.
"Okay a lot," she says hiding a laugh.
"It sure livens things up around here though," you admit. It would be pretty boring if you didn't have a little excitement.
"See you tomorrow," she smiles at you with a wave as you part ways for home.
"See you tomorrow," you return her parting words.
As you walk home, your phone goes off.
